I agree, I tend to agree Saban would prefer Evan Neal over Webb possibly. Just my thoughts.

Probably. Alabama got a really good center last year. Evan Neal plays OT, so that's a natural fit, because Georgia likes Darnell Wright. We would love to lock up Webb and Wright.

Webb to UGA has been the expectation for some time. Anything other than that would be a surprise to everyone.

The read question is where Dean, Sanders and Neal end up. That’s where the real mystery is.

I think Neal’s a heavy favorite to Bama at this point. Sanders less so, but still a lean to bama. Dean more of a toss up

If this comes to fruition. Georgia's offensive line is going to be historically good

Dawgs really need to keep Nakobe Dean out of Tuscaloosa.

Hang onto Nolan Smith & Trezman Marshall
Re-commit Haselwood
Beat Bama for Dean, Webb & Sanders
Grab Tyrique Stevenson & Kair Elam
Grab Darnell Wright
Keep the rest of the class

Call it a day
Go Dawgs!!!

After speaking to a source with knowledge of five-star offensive lineman Clay Webb's recruitment, I still like Georgia for the Oxford (Ala.) High blue-chipper... I wouldn't celebrate a commitment yet. I like UGA right now based on the folks I've talked to but we shall see soon.

Going into Alabama and taking a player like Webb would have been impossible a few years ago.

It happens more then you think. See J Ross to Clemson last year. There always seems to be a kid that wants to get out of the state.

I can't speak for him but it would have been nearly impossible for UGA to take someone of that caliber from the state of Alabama. Clemson is constantly in the playoffs so it makes more sense.

Clemson and Georgia have something in common. Staffs that have a lot of ties to the state of Alabama.

Still not holding my breath on this one. Alabama has been on a tear and you never know. It sounds like no one has a concrete feeling and the guy over at rivals as of yesterday was still predicting Bama.

You talking about Farrell? He the national guy, but actually knows less than the regional or site specific guys. Also predicted Fields to FSU last year when no one was.

It happens no different with Winston going to FSU. I would say it is more impossible for UA going into GA to grab a 5 star then the other way around. Even when Richt was there.

Last significant recruit we got from the state of Alabama was Ben Jones and his family was from Georgia and he was raised a Dawg fan. I'm pretty sure you've signed some good Georgia kids since then.

I know it happens but I can't remember any player being ranked anywhere close to Webb that UGA has pulled in the last 10 years. Hell, the last player I remember them even getting from Alabama was Ben Jones.
