Not according to stats and draft experts.

We’ll see who has the better combine numbers as well.

This will turn out just like last year's draft where LSU fans claimed that Guice would go before Chubb and yet he went after him AND Sony.

That’s the gauge now? Y’all used to argue that they were better than Leonard too.

So we’re all on the same page

Chubb > Guice
Michel > Guice
Fournette > Michel
Fournette > Chubb

There, now we’re good.

So when White wins those awards this year and becomes a 2 time all American will you admit he’s better?

There are all kinds of stats to make one look better than the other, but in my opinion solo tackles is the best one to look at and Roquan is clearly better. Devin is a great football player obviously, but when over 70% of your tackles are assists it's hard to say he's better than Roquan.

Roquan

Solo Assist Total
Soph 52 43 95
JR 85 52 137

Devin

Solo Assist Total
Soph 37 96 133
JR 27 39 66

draft experts.

Someone tagged a BR earlier but I haven't seen anything that has White going nearly as high as Smith.

CBS Prospects
Drafttek
SI Mock Draft
Walter Football- White goes 19th
CBS Mock-White goes 27th

Or he is involved in every play.

I have no dog in the fight as neither play for UA but I would take White over Smith any day of the week.

That's an absurd statement.

To the people saying he won't be a top 10 pick. Drafts are always hard to project this far out, but Mel Kiper literally had him #3 on his big board a few weeks ago.

The assisted tackle thing is also ridiculous. Dude is involved in every play. What does it matter if other people are in on the play as well?

I'm not going to say which one is better than the other. They are both very fast, hit hard and do their jobs very well.

But LSU fans can be hilarious. Fist, you think stats prove everything and draft position proves everything. tehn when it doesn't suit you they mean nothing and the eye test proves everything. Then a Georgia player (Gurley)isn't any good because he stays injured, but Guice and Fournette's stats would be much better if they had not been injured and missed games or played while injured.

I mean, all fan bases do this to an extent, but you guys seem to take it to new heights.

To be fair, both UGA and LSU fans have done this in this argument.
