They are not scrubs, for sure, but their projected draft position is irrelevant. That same projecting group had Hackenberg as the clear #1 choice this time last year.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up but Tennessee's chances with Brown seem to be improving daily. Butch seems to be setting up for a very strong close on signing day if this recruiting weekend goes well.
I'm honestly surprised that UGA is running in third(if true). I never paid much attention to Derrick Brown until the last few weeks because I thought he was a UGA lock basically

Auburn's felt very good about Brown since Richt was fired. I honestly felt that he would start going back to UGA once he met the new coaches but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Derrick has played this very close to the vest and I think that little hitch where we didn't know if Rocker was going to be there really hurt. I don't know if the kid felt spurned or what but he was rolled out a red carpet this weekend but I guess his heart is elsewhere. If he commits to UT or AU it won't be from a lack of effort from UGA's current staff.

Yeah and I feel like I am being kicked in the nads. He was seen as a lock as long as Rocker was here. Now, nothing but everything has changed. Still have Rocker but no Brown. Still think we have a chance and hope I'm wrong. Lots of our best insiders are still penciling him in on various boards.
Can't help but feel he lines up against us for 3 years though.

I don't think anyone's projected draft position two drafts from now is useful, even for UGA players. I would reference the current UGA dlinemen in the league and let that stand for itself when it comes to recruiting guys. We have a lot of linemen and pass-rushing linebackers doing well in the NFL.

It's seems like a 2 horse race for Brown with Auburn leading, is his parents going with him to Knoxville? If UGA can seal the deal with Carter this weekend the dawgs will be bringing in a quality haul on the D- front after bringing in arguably the top D-line class from last yr. It was surprising to hear Brown's OV did not go well and UGA is all but eliminated for his services unless he is pulling a all time troll job.
