Wow, I'm stunned by this one. I thought he was all Bama.

So did I. This is dissapointing.

Recruiting is falling off. Not disaster levels by any stretch but falling off nonetheless. So many strange fantasies not long ago about eight 5 star players and all sorts 'a bullshite like that.

Clay webb is an important piece to this. Alot of alabama fans want to believe he's a lock. He's not, not by a far sight. If he were he'd go ahead and commit and then help with recruiting himself. Well he hasn't done that and there's zero sign of him doing it. My guess is he's heading to georgia.

Never had a feeling with him one way or another but our “insiders” felt good about him . They know about as much as I do on these kids

He wanted to go out and leave his own mark. He will easily get on the field as a freshman at Michigan. Bama not so fast. He’s a future all pro and this is a fact.

I guess using Charles Woodson as a template sold him.

Insane. Frankly, your post is baloney.

Bama will finish with the number 2 class at WORST. They are king of the hill and don't look to be slowing down anytime soon.

For what it's worth, I actually think Saban coachs for another 7-10 years...

Hill wanted to commit to Bama in late July to early August, but his dad insisted he take his OV to Michigan instead. I don't think he made a wise decision, but of course I'm biased. Anyway, can't win every recruiting battle. Best of luck to him. Great talent and he seems like a good kid too.

With the way recruiting is these days this doesn't matter until he signs the dotted lines.

Curious if his tune changes if Michigan tanks later this season.

lol

Not even close. As the other poster said, they will end up at 2 at worst. All their big targets left are 5 star kids and Saban usually works a lot of magic towards the end before NSD.

BAMA ain't slowing down until Saban leaves.

Even if they miss on one 5 star kid, they can usually haul in another one from somewhere else. There will be quite a few big recruits who will be back on market shortly after their team tanks it bad this season

I think the trip to South Africa swayed him. Good luck with that one.

I very much enjoyed Y Star arguing that an Alabama education was just as valuable as a Michigan education on the Bama board after Hill committed.

I though the rest would be: ", but he did not have a committable offer."
