I'm sure you like it considering you're comments when he committed.

What can I say? Ryan Bartow reported it and I believed it.

Thanks for passing on him

Is there a link on this or are we just supposed to take Patrick's word as truth?

Glad the kid was able to get in.

Wish him the best, but I feel this celebration may be a little premature.

I mean it's possible it was premature, but so was the talk of him being ineligible. The NCAA can rule one way and the SEC another. It happened with Trevonte Valentine.

I like it. Now LSU fans can't say shite about Eddie Lacy's questionable road to Alabama
Oh, It will continue. Lacy becoming eligible was an absolute joke.

Absolutely right. Any LSU fan should know this after Rashard Robinson and Travonte Valentine situations. I hope Chidi is right but until that dude is at practice and declared eligible by LSU / SEC then I'm not holding my breath.

@DellengerAdv: Jeremy Cutrer will not enroll at #LSU. Didn't make it. OL Chidi Valentine-Okeke has been cleared.

Yea, like I said, great sloppy seconds.
But we'll take the 2nd overall player who isn't a grade risk and has played more than one year of football and be alright.

Jeremy Culter should try the CFL

He took summer classes before his senior year instead of traveling for visits or camps. Took correspondence classes during his senior year (worked on them during his lunch break). And took more summer classes after his senior year (no evidence of "6 classes in one month!!!" as LSU fans claim). There's no question he had a lot of ground to make up following his junior year which is no doubt why LSU and many other programs backed off. But according to multiple articles that I can link, he retook multiple classes over a 12 month period to get the gpa he needed. And much of that work was done while he was an uncommitted prospect.

If everyone approached hardships and past mistakes with the determination that Lacy showed America would be unstoppable.
Unfortunately, those who don't want to do the hard work (are afraid to do the hard work) choose to make false accusations about anyone who does (no way he could work hard and improve his predicament (I surly can't and I'm white)).
Dusty Rhodes is rolling over in his grave.

And he magically started passing classes with a 100% rate once Alabama got involved
C'mon man it was and is a great example of super sketchy qualifications. LSU has almost definitely done the same.

When did Alabama get involved? Before his senior year when he started taking summer classes? He was uncommitted. Sure, he liked Bama but he also liked Tennessee. Are you claiming Bama did something shady to get an uncommitted, out-of-state prospect qualified with no way of knowing whether he'd sign with Bama or one of its rivals?
Maybe something sketchy happened, maybe it didn't. I do know that according to actual articles I've found, it doesn't appear to have gone down the way I've seen multiple LSU fans claim.

For all those claiming that there was funny business in Lacey qualifying with summer classes, then any funny business that happened took place AT LSU.
If I remember right TD poster tdeucen, had a family member teach or help tutor him for one of his classes. I specifically remember him talking about how good of a student he was becoming long before and then after he signed with Alabama.
Do I think his transcripts were inaccurate? Not really, but question why they were never flagged by the NCAA when so many have been since for such minuscule regards.
