re: Do LSU fans jerk off to 2019

At least once every few months. Usually pop in the alabama, .....oklahoma..... georgia .... or clemson game

His 2019 game against Alabama was one of the best

The fact that our defense was obviously better without him last year leads me to think that the coaches will finally have figured out how to use him on defense. weeks and perkins at lb would be a great way to start season

Idk....
W Mason Taylor and Lacy doing their things
And the way caden Durnam is coming on right now
And the addition of chriss Hilton next week

Nuss may have the firepower to win this thjng

Yeah. he's goota be

Unrelated: few years back i was impressed when we announced we were hiring D.Aranda, the very next morning i go into work early, at 5:00 am, and Ananda was sitting in the H.S. office waiting to speak with a recruit when he arrived

WHO CARES?

With any other position in football, or sports for that matter, asking for what people think is a fair and relevant question.

But the LSU coaches and the professional scouts are just as clueless as you and i in regard to evaluating a players future success at the position.

Id appreciate the LSU staff simply assemble/amass as much talent at the position as possible and go into every season and offseason without a predetermined starter and simply let em battle it out.

I mean really, if drew brees were coming out of a local HS today LSU and Alabama still wouldnt recruit him.... they simply dont covet lil white dudes with no real wheels and without a cannon for an arm

brock purdy
tom brady
ect

besides the obvious reasons for Mulkey not airing the team's dirty laundry like it's not their business ect there's also the axiom the less everybody knows the better. it allows you greater flexibility in dealing with it and with other players in the future

Ironically, Emery will probably have a good pro career. Fast, can catch, and low mileage. Kinda like Kamara

this thread made me think of the 52-51 shoot-out these two teams had with one another two years ago.

both offenses are formidable

Dalton Hilliard

Glenn Dorsey

Devery Henderson (delivered 2x for Lou and saints)

Honey Badger (most dominant season ever for DB)

Laron Landry (hard hitter)

quote:

Hasn't the window already closed for him to transfer and play elsewhere this year? or is the rule different for a grad transfer? He also has several NIL deals that may or may not contractually obligate him to stay put. Not to mention the season starts in less than 3 weeks. Where is he gonna go and be able to start with essentially no time with his new team?

re: Bo Jackson vs. Herschel Walker

ill give Mcfadden this, the year LSU won the national championship yet lost to arkansas in overtime, i got concerned right before the game started cause although my tigers were better i was thinking about they only have one ball and they have one of the great RB's going for a heisman against a top team....he showed up and then i saw him after the game getting on the bus ..... he looked like a worn-out warrior, a true badass who left it all on the field....

that being said,

1 Herschel Walker- in the national championship they only had like three passes completed and still won
2 Bo Jackson

the rest

a 30 point loss is no different than a 3 point loss. In fact,it could be better for us in the long run.

no. They don't have the greatest PG's but they are adequate.

Many very good teams go without a traditional low posts prescence

I think Jerry Reynolds is the key to an LSU all time team.

with guards like chris jackson and pistol pete getting major minutes having a lengthy, shut-down peremiter defender would be clutch

Im no expert but ive been to many coaching conferences in my day and heard many great coaches lecture. One reoccuring theme was that a team cant be good at everything; and the coach needs to decide which things to stress above others. It's impossible to stress everything because it goes against the whole concept of 'stressing" something.

if you stress offensive rebounding, then you will more likely decline in fast-break defense

perhaps these teams are doing just that and we aren't?
hence, giving us more fast break points.

who knows? Im just saying that it's not as simple as it seems sometimes

Ok so he’s a good DL coach. Who’s says he can scheme a defense though? Why aren’t we going after a proven playcaller rather than just hoping he can translate to the DC level?

hasmore experience than joe brady did

You do realize the whole Rant laughs at the assertion of LSU having the greatest team ever? Saying it enough times doesn't make it real, corndogs.

Albeit it sounds bragadoscious; but it's kind of a statistical fact when one looks at who a team beat and by how many
