Congrats, good pickup for sure. No drama with his recruitment. First class all the way. Good luck to the young man.

every successful program needs 2-3 guys like this on their roster every year.

Little doubt in my mind that Clay will end up being a team captain and leader by the time he's a junior, if not before.

The one group that the recruiting services miss on more than any other is OL.

At least that’s the case for Bama.

It’s probably because they’re usually going up against 200 LB high school defensive linemen.

A big shout out to the classy Bama fans in here right now

Outside of the rant (where shite talking is a defense mechanism), most of us aren't that bad. You win some, you lose some. There's always other fish in the sea, no matter how much you want a specific one. No need to hate in a kid who's trying to make a decision that will be best for him and his hopeful career.

Wut? This makes no sense. Just start out at center and gain the experience you need from there?

If Georgia can get him to play center instead of guard like he wants to, he will be a great one.

Webb told Dawgnation he is starting at Guard but plans to play Center.

Sam Pittman is the biggest reason Kirby can never fire Chaney.

Unfortunately, this is probably true. Enos might have been enough, but alas... Arky had that pesky non-compete clause for same "position" nonsense. You just sealed your own fate by letting him end up at Alabama.

Word is he wants to play OT and Kirby promised him he could.
We told him G or C.

Where is this word from? Because it certainly isn't from Webb who has outright said he wants to play Guard initially and move into Center as he matures/develops... Seriously this shite is gold.

That is total BS. Dawgs told him he could play Guard and may end up at Center.

Not Offensive Tackle. Surely you just made a mistake typing this up. I will give you benefit of the doubt.

Offensive Tackle? :-)

All you have to do is listen to the Q&A straight from the horse’s mouth - Clay Webb himself.

What about this is particularly unclear or insinuating that he'll see time at Tackle?
