This is an odd situation.

2 days?

Hopefully he realizes he initially made the right decision and goes with his gut.

LOL!! like I said you're still south carolina, players don't decommit 2 days later at florida, and especially when they are the teams top pick up.

You would have to agree that a kid's older brother would want him to come play with him in college. The idea that it took money and bullying is foolish. Just like the case with RN. He went to Ole Miss because of his brother

I could see the rationale behind wanting to go to Bama, tradition, brother plays there etc. I can see the rationale to want to go elsewhere "be your own man" or what have you. But to say "major coaching changes" had anything to do with it is BS. Only major change at bama is Smart going to UGA, not sure how much of an effect that has on a WR. And the major change in coaching staff is the only reason he had interest in South Carolina to begin with.

He still has us listed as 'Favorite' on 247, so I think we're still in the best position...but clearly someone in the bama organization got to him.

I'm sure other factors may have come in to play, but you can't deny that his brother being there had a huge impact as well. It makes it easier on the family if both kids are at the same place. No denying that

In either case, I definitely still hope to get him. Not going to be one of those "well we didn't want him" or "we didn't have room for him" guys. The guys a play maker. That being said, we do now have 2 great recruiters hitting campus today in Lance Thompson and Bryan McClendon that have not yet been able to start recruiting. Here's hoping that they can add some more names to the board if Ridley does fall through

First your comment about the NFL playoff "brackets" and now this.

I thought he would tell the site insiders who he has as favorite, or warmer, warm, etc... is that not correct.

I think it's more of an inexact gut feel from whoever fills out his profile or what he says publicly. I doubt he's talking to reporters right now.

I honestly didn't care either way. I would rather have A.J. Brown. Cavin could be a great addition, but there are other players I like more. In the end he probably will end up at USCe
