I think it's more of an inexact gut feel from whoever fills out his profile or what he says publicly. I doubt he's talking to reporters right now.

I think the reporters are in contact with some of the prospects but then again, Ridley told a reporter that he was committed two days ago.

I could see the rationale behind wanting to go to Bama, tradition, brother plays there etc. I can see the rationale to want to go elsewhere "be your own man" or what have you. But to say "major coaching changes" had anything to do with it is BS. Only major change at bama is Smart going to UGA, not sure how much of an effect that has on a WR. And the major change in coaching staff is the only reason he had interest in South Carolina to begin with.

But do you see the reasoning in him going to South Carolina?

Wow. This is one of many examples of why following recruiting is a terrible experience these days.

The reason he was/is considering South Carolina was a good relationship with his recruiter and a "Be my own man mentality." Lets face it, with Calvin being a freshman all american and making Michigan State's defense look foolish, Cavin is likely going to be "Calvin's Brother" until Calvin declares for the draft. Also, I hate that their names are so similar, makes discussing them that much more difficult.

He supposedly wants to be called Riley. I think it's his middle name? Not sure exactly.
