Yes, unless you consider Drink to be a shite coach like Butch/Dooley/Pruitt?

And Heupel inherited a much worse situation than Elijah.

Why would UT hire such shite coaches on purpose? Why didn't you just hire a good coach? Your program must be really stupid.

Clearly you haven't met Jimmy Haslam (the guy screwing up the Browns) or the past 2 UTADs. We are lucky we didn't get far worse.

I don’t know? Why did you hire Cuonzo Martin and Kim Anderson?

Why did you run off your best football coach of all time?

Talent rankings would massively disagree here. Mizzou was high 40’s in talent when Odom left. Vols was still recruiting very good classes and was stacked with talent. Dumb comment.

Dumb comment. NCAA looming over his head, self imposed penalties and a mass exodus of players. No one cares who we recruited in 2020 if they aren’t on the roster.

Tennessee had 37 players leave through the transfer portal in 2021. That's one less than Missouri lost in 2021 and 2022 COMBINED.

Here are some highlights of players they lost through the portal prior to Heupel's first Spring Practice:

Henry To'o To'o - 205 tackles in 2 seasons at Alabama - Now with Houston Texans

Eric Gray - 1,788 rushing yards and 13 TDS in 2 seasons at Oklahoma - Now with the NY Giants

Brent Cimaglia - 31 extra points and 11 Field Goals in 1 season at Georgia Tech

John Mincey - 42 Tackels in 2 seasons at Arkansas State

Kaidon Salter - 3,877 passing yards & 1,402 Rushing yards with 54 TDs in 3 seasons at Liberty

Malachi Wideman - 34 catches for 540 yards and 12 TDs at Jackson State

Kenney Solomon - 23 Tackles and 3 pass deflections in 2 seasons on the DL at Tulsa

Tennessee lost more players in the transfer portal in 2021 than any college team has ever lost. So, Heupel inherited a team decimated by transfer losses after a 3-7 season...but, sure...Eli's situation was much worse than that, I'm sure.

Just when OU fans were about to dethrone UT East of their douchery, the latter said "hold my beer".

Ah yes. I’m so shocked (sarcasm) that you are stupid enough to buy the company line.
