Or maybe Stanford has convinced him he'll be the next McCaffrey.

Shouldn't you worry about whether you will even have a top 15 class after your next decommit(s)?

I would never say anything about a kid that has the opportunity to attend Stanford. It’s a great school. But sips should be very worried about holding onto what is left of their class right now, and not what A&M is doing to completely school then in recruiting

Remember when these boards were crawling with longhorn fans? Seems like a long time ago now.

Looking at this kids Instagram, it looks like Shaw and Co made a house visit last week, but I’ve read that EJ has never visited campus.

By his posts, it’s either A&M or UF. I think he would be an awesome fit for Florida. But man I don’t know if I would want to go to UF as an RB if my dad was one of the greatest of all time. Way too much pressure.

On the other hand you have to live in College Station and never have a chance to win a championship, so...

Yeah, I keep hearing this, and despite Texas being dog shite the last 10 years, and A&M being so great by beating Alabama in 2012, I just don't see A&M capitalizing on Texas' shitting the bed.

Congrats again on winning the recruiting season.

Thanks, my man. Don't be so down, though. Herman will coach up whoever hasn't decommitted.

A&M has never really won the recruiting battle in quite awhile. But since Fisher we are recruiting like an SEC team. Thanks for your concern, sip

EJ wears number 22 in the state of Texas. Everyone in that state knows who 22 was/is. He is not afraid of follow his pops. He is Stanford bound because of the academic side of things.

Stanford has done okay with sons of NFL stars. This might be a bit like Barry Sanders, Jr. Although when Barry picked Stanford over OK State Stanford was humming along.

You never know. By all accounts, Stanford isn't a pressure cooker. You wonder if the NFL guys impart some wisdom to their kids that they need to keep their eyes on something besides football, and whether they might have more fun where football stars have a bit more freedom.

But will acknowledge that from the outside, it certainly looks like Stanford is facing some challenges.

A kid whose Dad posts on TexAgs asked Demas about Evans tonight at a basketball game. Demas seems to be inferring we get Evans
