We pushed the in-home visit. We may be slow playing Smith if we think we can land Evans. This is a dangerous play. Clearly, Evans is talented, but so is Smith. I wouldn't be upset if we went with Smith over Evans.

He had a good game in Jesuit's loss to Spring Westfield.

They lined him up at receiver, tailback, and quarterback at different times.

How does Florida lose Emmitt Smith's son?

Or maybe EJ realizes the kind of immense pressure he would be under to live up to his fathers legacy and stats and figured he would rather not add the extra pressure to his performances

Our RB coach is absolute shite at recruiting..and developing. He needs to go. Seider being let go for Knox was Mullens biggest mistake when taking the job. Lost a great coach and recruiter and his replacement is shite.

Sounds like Smith is having trouble believing in Mullen’s system.

Watch his highlights. Could legitimately be a RB or WR. What a weapon, and man does he look like Emmitt running the ball. Either Stanford or A&M is getting a good recruit here

If its Stanford then I expect its due to A&M expecting to get Evans. Same may be true visa verse. If Smith chooses A&M then maybe Jimbo isn't confident he can reel in Evans.

That would be only thing would make sense besides the Stanford academics is that Smith does not like UF's coaches.

A&M is after a bunch of RBs this cycle.
Stanford is losing a ton of players to the portal. Rumors of Shaw going to an NFL team.
UF runs an offense the EJ would fit every well into. Plenty of tape using a RB as a WR in the pass game. UF would be willing to make EJ the only RB of this cycle.

A&M will have 2 RBs on the roster next year. 1 is a true SO who played fairly well this year (Spiller) and the other just being a guy (Richardson). Between injuries and transfers, we'll need immediate PT from more than 1 back.

Didn't Barry Sanders boy end up at Stanford. If so, and EJ ends up there, that's just awesome

Us or Stanford. If EJ chooses Stanford tomorrow, I suspect that means we landed Evans.
