I'm sure your class will be top 5 in 2 weeks after the ratings are "corrected".

We didn't have room for EJ - he wanted assurances we weren't taking another RB, but we are all in on Evans. The same RB that didn't even give the sips a sniff. Now, run along little horn and maybe Herman will give you guys the bird at his conference. About all you have to look forward to except the announcement of the Major as your OC.

Texas is a National joke, not so sorry to say. Texas will always recruit decently, but their coaching is abysmal

adorable that you're immediately insecure about Texas because a Stanford grad chimed in on a recruit you didn't land.

Whoa, this is one angry elf.

The same RB "that didn't even give the sips a sniff" was not on our radar after the RB from Arizona averaging 20+ yards per carry committed to Texas. Pretty sure he did not give you ags "a sniff" either. But I digress, at least we have that one signed. Evans on the other hand, well shite, wasn't he kicked off of his high school team earlier this season for being a locker room problem? I'm sure if he signs with Jimbo, there will be no problem at all considering the spotless reputation Jimbo's programs have always had with minimal problems...

Not a ton of argument there. Texas currently doesn't have premier coaching that it should. Whether it's a "National joke" depends on who you ask, but coming from an A&M fan whose team had the exact same tally of wins and losses, coupled with 0 wins vs teams with a winning record all season, is pretty damn rich.

And all of this for a recruit who A&M hasn't even signed yet lol

Hey, XWing - you don't have an SEC team, and your coach is having his press conference where he has to apologize for behaving like a fifteen year old

Don't you have somewhere to be?

I wish him the best of luck. I’d have a hard time begrudging any kid that wanted to go to Stanford.

Worked out well for Andrew Luck.

Best of luck for EJ at Stanford. It would have be tough for him at UF with his father's legacy.

The problem with this logic is that if there were indeed assurances, he automatically would have picked A&M over Stanford.

There were lots of reasons to pick other hats -- Ohio State and Georgia have actual success in recent years, Florida was dad's alma mater, and Stanford produced McCaffrey and Bryce Love in recent years.

Maybe EJ just thought that he'd rather be in a different town than College Station (which he knows because of his sister) and maybe he would rather play football at another school.

The logic implies that A&M is some kind of running back U. Or is going to have some lights out offensive line next year. Which is as insane as the notion that the only thing EJ was thinking about was some kind of assurance he was demanding from Fisher.

Trust me - A&M knew that the kid was going to Stanford. Not a single A&M mod thought otherwise. Now, that would be due to Mr Evans ...

Fitting you would display a photo of walkon whose brother followed Sumlin to Arizona only to fail.

...wut?

Fitting you would display a photo of a coach who at Texas has already accomplished a single season result better than Texas A&M has in 30 years despite the fact that y'all have "moved on from Texas" lol

2012 was 7 years ago. A&M went 11-2 and finished #5.

You haven't finished with fewer than 4 losses since Colt got hurt.

Number of NY6 / BCS bowl games A&M has won in the past 30 years = 0

Number of NY6 / BCS bowl games Texas has won in the past 30 years = 4

Number of NY6 bowl games Texas has won in the past 2 years = 1

Neither has A&M since Johnny left, including his second season there. Guess we can't relate since Colt went 4/4 in 10-win seasons in 4 years.

A&M would literally have to go back 27 years to dig up their 4th most recent 10-win season
