3rd most recently kid in 2025 class! #1 LB and he will almost certainly be a 5 star by end of year.

BTW, guys, he is the only kid coming into his senior high school season that can PHYSICALLY out perform many SEC starting LBs.

Simple said, Riggins is a true BEAST.

We finally get a built kid. Reminds me UGA’s RB that is a brick of muscle.

Not trying to shite on the kid, but he's rated as the #52 LB by 247 and #30 LB by On3. It's ok to be excited about a commit, but at least be truthful.

Lots of movement throughout the year. Baylor Cupp and Chris Marshall have made similar jumps. There will be like 12 ratings updates from now to next Feb, so that type of movement isn’t far fetched. But he could also stay the same or move down. That’s what’s fun about keeping up with recruiting for us. It’s not like we get an Aggie bump so it’s cool seeing some guys climb. I’m sure LSU has had several guys improve their ratings as well.

Sure, ratings bumps happen all the time. However, you rarely see a kid go from ranked between 30-50 at his position to top 5. Like I said, I'm not trying to shite on the kid as I'm sure he's a good player, but let's post accurate info on this board.

It's still very early for the 2025 kids. There will still be a ton of movement. This kid is going to shoot up.

ESPN & Rivals have him top 5 at his position (5th & 2nd). 247 is really dragging him down. Who knows how it’ll shake out.

Hopefully he won't go the way of Harold Perkins or Anthony Hill.

Dave Campbell Texas Football does, but I wouldn’t expect you guys to know anything about them, and how long they’ve been doing it bc they only do Texas HS player rankings. He’s their number one, and most of the time, they hit on a lot of players. Why are you guys trolling make it seem like he’s trash? We love to have him onboard.

No one say he is not good but argue he is not #1 LB in the nation.

Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Rank him #3 LB (#1 ILB) in Texas

I think he is the number ILB in the state. I think the top OLB is the kid from Galveston. 247 used to separate them, and now it’s all together as LB. He’s definitely not the best in the nation. Texas is never as loaded as say a Georgia at LB. When the air raid took over HS football in Texas, all the best athletes wanted to play on offense or the secondary. The talent the state produced at LB dropped some but starting to pick up.

Texas has produced 1 5* LB 6 out of 7 years
This would be A&M’s 2nd Top 4 Texas LB in 7 years

It’s hard to rate the quality of LB, as most of the 5* are now WR (highest probability of going to the NFL)

Top 4 LB in Texas

2019 LSU, Tex, OU, Vandy, 1 5*, 1 4*
2020 Ala, LSU, Tex, UNLV, 1 5*, 2 4*
2021 Ala, Tex, Tex, Tex, 5 4*
2022 LSU, OU, A&M, OU, 1 5*, 4 4*
2023 Tex, OU, Tex, Tex, 1 5*, 5 4*
2024 Geo, OSU, LSU, Tex, 1 5*, 4 4*
2025 x, x, x, A&M, 1 5*, 3 4*

2019-2024, 6 years, 24 players, 5 @ 5*, 21 @ 4*
Texas 9 of 24
OU 4
LSU 4
Ala 2
1 each, A&M, Geo, OSU, Vandy, UNLV

Pinning your hopes on ESPN and Rivals is as delusional as pinning your hopes on Jimbo.
