We dont flame here, but what do you actually think it was that swung his interest from Auburn to UGA first?

Maybe he wanted to be a first round NFL draft pick at LB?

Where did I say it wasn’t legal?

You didn't. Just seemed curious that you would say, "I wonder what happened?"

I am simply pointing out what turned the recruitment at the last minute- that’s all.

NIL, I am sure had a part in it. Immediate playing time, too, I'm sure. But why not just say that it's your opinion NIL played a role.

It's legitimate to make your speculation. But it's also ok for them to add money as a part of the package they offered.

However, you asked the question, so I'll ask you. What do you think happened?

From what he said in his interview is that UGA has 10 guys just like him and he’d be a featured talent at AU, also that he didn’t want his grandmother driving that far to see him play. Don’t shoot the messenger…

UGA doesn't have 10 guys just like him.

At lease 7 of them are much better.

Just messing with ya'll. Good get.

Who else are you thinking AU beats out UGA for?

The guy that’s in Auburn as we speak, Riddick. But he might end up at Bama too. Who knows

What happened???
Walk the town and campus, JHS, Coach Freeze quietly doing relentless work in full redemption mode, complete understanding of how the recruiting game is played. Not scared to recruit against anyone. Already winning recruiting battles against Kirby, Nick, Dabo, Mario and Lane in what 6-7 months? Excellent staff with proven records of developing NFL talent and relentless recruiting, $91.9 million state of the art football facility partnered with Apple among others, stout NIL, BOT, contributors
and fan base aligned.
Aubie has not forgot about the recruitments of Yeldon, Foster, Kouandijio, Liner, Pickens in which Kirby was a major player in the flips during his time in T-town. He truly learned from the best if you know what I mean ($$$$).
It took the dawg 19-20 years to catch up and go ahead in the series. We spotted you 6 more than likely 7 with this year and 1 up in the Natty.
Times up!
Best hire since Pat Dye. The fun thing is...... most of you know it!

He’s committed to UGA. Calls Bama the perfect place. Sounds like AU is third right now

Things have changed a lot,” Riddick said. “A lot. I can tell you that. Basically it’s family. That’s one thing I’m big about is family. The family thing has changed the whole nine yards. “At Georgia I was feeling at home and I felt like that was my family too, but this family is something different.”

He may stay with you guys, or flip. But that doesn’t sound like a last place contender

Will do. Follow recruiting but I don’t get upset when a kid picks a different school than UGA

Fair enough. Still a big deal for us to be competitive in recruiting against yall. Harsin and later years Gus hamstrung us in a lot of ways. NIL and Freeze has made an impact

I think Phillips loved UGA, told Freeze he did, and then Freeze said - “what will it take $$$?” and the price was met. Fairly easy to read between those lines in the article.

I know UGA staff anticipating Riddick will flip to BAMA soon, per insider.
