Interesting. Grandad played at LSU. Said he grew up an Alabama fan. Always thought it would be Alabama or LSU.

Supposedly been leaning UGA for some time and 247 has him as the 77th ranked prospect. Big time get out of the state of Tennessee.

Commited to Georgia today after being on a visit to Knoxville all weekend.
Strange, but have been hearing that we were the team to beat for a while. Kid has impressive film. I really like his game.

He got the vols hopes up and then crushed them. Savage.

Visited UT when Butch was here and Brady Hoke didn't know who he was. Needless to say, this wasn't Pruitt's fault.

We had a similar altercation with Shittenheimer and Fromm several years ago. Fromm showed up and Shittenheimer all but told the kid you shouldn't have visited us.

The difference between our programs is that Fromm worked out just fine for you guys but now there's no chance that Norton goes to UT

Dumb. Butch and Hoke screwed this up from the beginning and hes never been a UT lean to begin with. This ones not on Pruitt.

I remember every time a Georgia player would commit to UT Shaft would show up and be obnoxious and say shite like all your 5stars players belong to us. “Preston Williams” etc.
This is my shaft response.
We thank you for allowing us the opportunity to cross into your state and partake in the recruitment of several key prospects and secure the commitment of Bill Norton by offering inadequate services by the previous administration. Good luck fellas

I think that Bill will reopen his recruitment at some point this season.

That is always possible and we had several early commiments last year that were told to look elsewhere but I can’t see that happening with Norton. It’s a position of need for us and he’s a big time player. Would love to land him but we will see how it shakes out.

I think he will be in Knoxville when it's said and done and I think he'll make a trip or two to Oxford.

The hometown school is always a threat and of course Bama and others as well. He’s been leaning our way for some time so hopefully he feels good about it but honestly it’s 50/50 on early commitments sticking. I’m more confident in the in state guys sticking but even they will be tempted. It’s hard not to when everyone is telling you how great you are and they all want you. We currently have 3 5 stars with Owen Pappoe likely leaning UGA. The task will be keeping them all. That being said, I want Haselwood the most. That’s kid is the weapon we haven’t had since AJ Green.

Usually, but Memphis and UT are so far apart that its not as important here IMO

Have to believe Pruitt will make Memphis area a priority. I know it's not a pipeline but there is always a chance to change that with the right coaching staff.

Pruitt had a chance to make up for the previous staff. He didn't.

He just left Knoxville on Sunday and immediately did what he has felt sure about for a whole. I doubt he is the type we encourage to go elsewhere.
