It was always bizarre to me that Nebraska was such a player in his recruitment. Does he have any issues with grades?

I think length was an issue for him with UGA, Bama, and FSU. Time will tell if that was a mistake.

Our Nickel and Dime backs who play a lot are both 5'10. Our outside CBs are both 6'2 but I could care less as long as he can cover.

Yup, Smith isn't a large corner. I really like Smith as a player. He's similar to Tutt honestly. Both are very aggressive and physical corners which is a fit for both teams styles. Congrats to your team.

Sort of. His uncle played ILB for us (Danny Verdun Wheeler) from 03-06.
