He was supposed to be a lock. He was used as an excuse by many Texas fans why they "backed off" on Jarrett Johnson

Ty Barrett, a 3* OL from the same highschool and really good friends with Kincade (all 3 go/went to skyline). It's between us, Oklahoma, TCU, and Texas Tech for Ty.
And because Texas missed out on their other top DE prospect and they considered this guy a huge Texas lock. 247 interviewed Evans like an hour ago and even in the video he said, "there will be a lot of mad Texas fans over this decision but I'm making the choice that's best for me."

Ty Barrett his high school teammate.
He must be pretty decent but I'm not too excited about him unless he helps us land Barrett and others from skyline

Best part about getting guys from Dallas Skyline is that the school plays elite competition. You wont have to worry about these guys being raw like say a Channing Ward when he got to Ole Miss.

This kid seems to be very athletic and has good potential, his film is just alright though. One play he'll make you say wow, and the next he looks like an average player. I trust Freeze here and if this kid can cash in on his potential, he could be a very good player.
And getting a Skyline pipeline would be huge for us, a lot of good players seem to be coming out of there right now. Plus it could potentially open up the rest of Dallas for us.

Congrats from an Aggie. Any doubt that Texas is an SEC- state? Horns wanted this guy bad. And good look with Ty Barrett. Seems like a great kid from what I have heard. Wish he could have been an Aggie to be honest. I will be rooting for him and Quincy.

If you're a blogger throwing out accusations, you're a pussy. Either man up and give real proof or sit down. Texas isn't the first prestigious school to lose straight up to Ole Miss.
Just can't stand these guys that people consider credible that act like schoolgirls when their school loses a recruit.
