I think a lot of these schools we're beating out for recruits need to take a long look at where Nutt left our depth chart... If Evans went to TX it would play out like this... Redshirt his first year there... Scout team his RS fresh and soph years... Breaks into the rotation his junior season.. And he still may not be named the starter his senior year... At OM this kid will get live snaps as a true freshman in a blow out game (hopefully it's our opponent who's getting blown out)... When RN leaves after his junior year this kid will be the man off the edge his junior and senior season without ever having to RS... That's what Freeze is selling to these kids anyway.

I do wonder which fanbase Freeze is gonna troll by landing one of their guys. Last year, we gave FSU, UGA, and you guys some solid meltdowns.
Impressive that SPS melted like it did despite us not actually flipping the recruit.

Texas. They mad as frick right now. Also, if the OT from Skyline commits, I bet Oklahoma fans are gonna have some pretty rustled jimmies.

Well... Jones was flipped. He was all but ready to sign with Ole Miss until NSD morning. State made the final push and got him. That recruitment went down to the wire.
