He was a 4* WR and ranked 7th in Missouri’s 2014 class. He signed with Nebraska to play football and baseball, but chose MLB after being drafted in the 2nd round. He had 68 career at bats with the Marlins and Angels.
In football his senior year at Lee Summit West they won state and he had 28 TD’s.
In basketball Lee Summit West placed 3rd and he led the team with 15.7 pts per game.

College sports eligibility is such a weird thing. You can forego your college years to play a professional sport, then return to college and play a different sport with no questions asked. He's ten years older than the other freshmen on Arkansas roster

To play what sport?
Football I'm guessing.

He’s a walkon for football. 10 years is a long time away from a sport, this may be the last we hear about him.

He’s not the first one to ever do something like this. Tyler Stoval drafted by the Braves out of high school in the 2nd round. Part of his indictment to go pro instead of going to Auburn, was that the Braves would pay for his college once his baseball career was over with.
Graduated high school 2008, signs with Auburn to play baseball and football. Gets drafted in June and decides to go pro. Plays 5 years pro baseball and returns back to Auburn as a football player at 23 years old. He then becomes the backup QB, and the place holder for Auburn special teams. He graduated Auburn when he was 28 years old.
But pretty cool people don’t give up on their dreams and can actually go back.

Soccer is even weirder! You can play pro soccer over seas and come to the United States and be a 21 year old freshman in college. Granted you can’t be under contract of a pro team and play college at the same time. But coaches in the United States recruit the international market for soccer players more because of the rules are different for international players. The American kid is at a disadvantage when a college coach can go get a grown man that’s 21 years old that’s been cut from his pro team and bring him to the United States to play college. It’s unfair truths be told!
