The most surprising part of this in my opinion. Seems strange he would screw over family for Saban. Idk what he puts in these kid’s heads.

So you saying a kid isnt allowed to make his on choice because of something his family did?

Last month Ryan told BamaOnLine he talks to UA every day. “They’re a top-notch program,” Ryan said. “I like the way they do things over there. They’re organized and they’re good every year. I don’t have to worry about them having a bad season or having a slump. They’re always good. I would like to be a part of program like that and hopefully help them win if I decide to go there. It would be amazing to play for one of the best coaches in college football right now."

Saban might never say it but I'm 100% sure he remembers the "Roll Tide, FUXk you rant"...

I don't think Saban cares at all about what Coach O says.

Cordale Flott, Desmond Little, Jakori Savage, Neil Farrell and Justin Thomas disagree with you.

I seem to remember that LSU got a kid out of Alabama, Connor Neighbors?

What about this????

The Neighbors have had three generations play football for the University of Alabama.

Billy Neighbors played for Bama starting in 1958 on Bryant's first team. He was on Bryant's 1961 national championship team and was a Consensus All American. Also in the College Football HOF.

Son Wes played for Bama from 1983 through 1986. Was an All SEC player.

Son Keith joined the Tide in 1988 and was on the 1992 national championship team.

Grandson Wesley also won a national title as part of the 2009 Alabama team.

Billy Neighbors other grandson, Connor, played for LSU.

Billy Neighbors' brother Sidney Jr. also played for Alabama before Bear Bryant.

The difference between Bama and LSU...LSU can win championships without getting Alabama recruits..but Bama can’t win Championships without Louisiana recruits

1st Rd picks under Saban at Bama from Alabama High Schools

1.Andre Smith
2.Rolando McCain
3.Marcel Darius
4.Julio Jones
5.Mark Barron
6.Dre Kirkpatrick
7.Dee Miller
8.DJ Fluker
9.CJ Moseley
10.Marlon Humphrey
11.OJ Howard
12.Rueben Foster
13.Daron Payne
14.Rashaan Evans
15.Quinnen Williams
16.Henry Ruggs III

1st RD picks from Louisiana under Saban at Bama

1... None.
Devonta will be the 1st.

No other Flagship University in any state, even the states like CA,TX,GA, or FL can say they cleaned up on elite instate talent like Bama did. Thats where Bama wins.

Possibly the biggest pull from LSU since Saban has been here.

I'll say.

Meh. Winning a title is not as big a deal as you make it out to be for these recruits.

I’m not so sure. With Sage’s connections to LSU, safety being a position of need for the Tigers with immediate playing time available, and Ed Orgeron’s “We gone beat day arse in recruitin’” comment, this one feels pretty colossal.

Lots of threads on LSU's recruiting board that seem to think the tide has shifted back to LSU for Sage.

I would be very cautious about that.

Steve Wiltfong changed his Sage Ryan CB pick from LSU to UA with medium (6) confidence.
