Matt House is apparently in love with this kids game and thinks he’s a superstar. I trust House.

Sonny Shipp and Wiltfong have him flipping. There's another but those are the two to note

No trolling. If I were a HS Lb I would be all over getting to play behind the A&M DL.

Current A&M DL is by far the most talented we have ever had.

Also we missed on some LB targets last year so good path way for playing time.

You certainly have a talented roster, but if I remember correctly you were last in the conference in rushing defense last year. Durkin needs to change something.

In the age of NIL, if you admit that you can’t compete financially, you’re gonna have a bad time.

LSU can compete.

A&M is just more willing to overpay.

It’s a bad sign if $1,000 bucks is enough to take your players tho.

Nothing other than Xavier moved to Houston from LA and now has been living around A&M a ton. It was never a good move in terms of him staying committed here because he's easily swayed and now that he planted himself in Houston A&M makes a lot of sense for him. He'll likely be replaced by Devin Smith from GA who they like a ton was offered by tOSU earlier this year and holds a handful of other SEC offers himself.

I'm sure the depth chart got sold heavily to him at A&M as well as they really need some linebackers and are taking a big class there.

Jonesboro-Hodge High School linebacker and LSU commit, Xavier Atkins, has been selected to the 2022 Class AA All-State First Team Defense in football. The announcement was released by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) on Friday. By being selected for the second straight year, Atkins becomes only the third player in JHHS history to be selected in back-to-back years, joining John Garlington (1962-63) and Norman Bradford (1989-90). Rated 3-Stars by college recruiting services, the 6’1” 205 lb., junior ended the season with 121 total tackles, 104 solo stops, 20 tackles for a loss, 4 blocked punts, 3 sacks, and an interception which was returned for a touchdown.

“I am proud for Xavier to be honored as one of the best in the state once again,” said JHHS head coach Terrance Blankenship. “He has worked hard for this and hopefully next year will be his best yet.”

This is the only thing I could find on this kid that showed his stats for last year.

If you have any link showing he had 219 tackles last year please supply that link.

My bad I didn't check 2021 my apologies. I found his 2021 stats finally and you were right my bad for questioning you just couldn't believe he had 219 tackles in one year.
