Just named Florida as his leader on his IG. Florida in strong play for 3 five star corners for the 2023 class.

I wouldn't be so sure on anything with him. I think he ends up at Bama but won't be surprised by anything.

Mitchell’s from Lakeland and he grew up with McClain, wouldn’t consider us having a shot with him if he were a true Bama kid

This is true. His mother is also a Florida grad.
However, he has been at Thompson his entire high school career and won 3 consecutive state titles (will be seeking a 4th) with at least 6 kids attending Alabama, including 2 in his graduating class.
Alabama feels good where it stands in regards to Mitchell.

Yeah I’m not disagreeing that Bama should be considered the clear favorite with him at Thompson, I just said Florida is atleast in the mix and I’d pin us as the second most-likely pick for him

It is pretty unusual that this year the state of Alabama has 3 highly ranked 5 star cornerbacks. I do not believe that Bama will get all three, I think they will get 2, not sure which ones, but it should be fun to watch moving forward.

Harris is the least likely to sign with Alabama.
