I am confident Oregon has a legit shot. However, we’ll see.

My gosh, JTT with Jack Sawyer..... Nobody will be able to block to edge rushers like that. Actually, I like jack Sawyer better as he is the closest thing to a JJ Watt clone I have ever seen. I guess the larry Johnson and west coast presence of Ohio State (Emeka Egbuka and Gee Scott) made all the difference. Oregon might have a chance but I highly doubt it.

Oregon is very much in it and Huffman the past couple months has said as much. The family didn’t do well with the travel, Oregon nailed the NIL pitch, he cares a lot about the Poly community and his Dad and our DL coach are friends from Samoa. KT getting first pick hype helps as well.

Also, he will get to play with Flowe, Sewell, KT, and Oregon is trending for Moss in ‘22. Oregon has absolutely loaded up on edge guys.

Also, the biggest factor: Mario.

Watch the maestro orchestrate in the next week. Can’t wait to see what unfolds.

You may be right, but I think the biggest factor is distance.

He belongs to a culture where family means more than most others. Not many families can afford to pick up and move to Tuscaloosa (Tua did though) or Columbus. I think Oregon is the compromise. Great facilities, potential playoff contender and close to home.

Looks like TJ Dudley is committing Monday to Oregon. Was he a take for Bama?

Also, that’s what I mean by Mario. Dudley was committing Thursday and Mario moved it to Monday for some type of strategy. The man has a plan for everything.

No idea.

Word is we made a huge move for Shawn Murphy last weekend on his OV. He might have moved above Dudley on our board. Who knows?

Here is my gist on JTT...... Oregon, Alabama play a 3-4 defense with one prevalent edge rusher. Ohio State uses the 4-3 exclusively with (2) edge rushers. Nick and Joey Bosa, and Chase Young were, and are, DROY in the NFL and cogwheels on their respective NFL teams. This is all in the last 5-6 years alone, with Zach Harrison probably being a 1st round pick this year. That is the Larry Johnson X factor. JTT knows that and has been pursued for years by Johnson who he is really close with. Of course Oregon is still in it but this is my .02 cents worth. Also, he has been to Oregon and Washington on numerous unofficials but never set foot on OSU's campus, until he had a 4 day visit last week.

Oregon doesn’t play a 3-4.

Alabama doesn’t really do all that much anymore. Probably spend 80% of the time in nickel and dime these days. A four man front is more important than ever before.

I agree. I am thinking it’s Ohio State. Huffman starts a beer gif tagging mods on Bucknuts.

He's beer snob friends with an OSU fan who owes him a case now.

Sounds like this one is over and he's a Buckeye...or Huffman is trolling hard

I actually laugh when I hear people talking about Bama's 3-4. The days is Terrence Cody have been over.

I can’t wait for him to completely turn over the roster. He needs two more cycles.

Really....he committed to Ohio State today. Wow, him and Jack Sawyer for the next (3) years. There is also talk of him playing basketball as he is that good.
