He commits to LSU this month and signs with Bama on the 1st day of the ESP.

Book it.

And if he doesn't... it will because he didn’t have a commitable Bama offer, higher person on board, Saban didn't really want him, there's no room.

Anyone who's following Roy's recruitment knows none of that's true in his case. I seriously doubt you'd see any sane Bama fan who's followed it to say any of that. I suppose there could be a few ignorant and/or delusional knuckleheads who would.

Oh them big mad.

To answer the other guy, not that he deserves it, Shea got burned a couple years back and made a promise that he wouldn’t put CBs in until he was fully 100% confident and since then they are almost always on the day of commitment.

Most of the time Hank South (BOL) is like that too. He won't put in a CB pick unless he's VERY confident. Tim Watts (BOL) is that way even more so. He doesn't make very many picks and most of them are shortly before the player's scheduled commit date.

I don't believe that...now I do believe he probably won't sign early and will want to wait and see Bama vs LSU.

As long as we "look good", he's LSU bound.

Another 29-0, we're in trouble.

See that’s the problem right there, the assumption that there may be only a few ignorant Bama fans out there.

I didn't assume or say there are only a few ignorant and/or delusional Bama fans. I said there might be a few of those who would say those things if Roy recommits to LSU.

Imo, just about every fanbase out there, including Bama's, has it's fair share of fans that a lot of the fanbase would like to disown.

Btw, your insults won't rustle me. So don't waste your time trying. I truly couldn't care less what you think or say.

Roy will very likely recommit to lsu but ultimately sign to Alabama after the season plays out

I know this is what Bama fans are being fed, but it just doesn't make a ton of sense for a guy to recommit to a school, only to flip somewhere else later, especially making a HUGE deal about that recommitment with a big ceremony.

Anything can happen in recruiting, but on the hoof, it seems like an extreme shot in the dark to say Alabama definitely is signing him in the end when he's all set to recommit to LSU in a big ceremony/party style.

The fact that Daniel is saying this should confirm to the rest of you that it's nonsense.

If Roy commits to lsu (which he almost certainly will) he's not backing out of it. Especially when you consider the stage he's set for the 26th.

Winning recruiting battles like this one will go a long way towards changing that.

Should have beaten y'all in '12, '14 and '16.

Not taking anything from you guys because y'all got it done, but yeah.
