Seeing as he is down to three SEC teams I figured we could start a dedicated thread discussing him as opposed to posting about him in the 30 page Trey Sanders thread.

What we know:

- He was just awarded a 4th star on 247 and has moved into their Top 300 overall.

- He is the nephew of former Miami and Colts great Edgerrin James.

- He is signing on Wednesday at 1:30 CST.

- He is down to Alabama, Auburn and Georgia.

- He is likely the back up plan for both Alabama and Georgia in regards to Trey Sanders.

Miami fans are so fricking pissed that he blew them off after they slow played him.

It seems UF may be the team that needs a back up plan for Trey Sanders no? Doesn’t Bama feel good on Sanders?

How UF didn't find their way into the mix for DJ Williams is mind blowing.

Rusty predicted him to UGA . Bama feels they have a shot but who knows?

He obviously came out of no where. I like him better than Cain.

This has been my take. He's not as good of a prospect (currently) as Emery or Sanders, but I liked him better than Cain. He could be a hell of a consolation prize for whoever misses on Sanders... or a strong pickup for Auburn if they can get the rest of their stuff worked out.

I would think Auburn has the advantage. Who wants to be the backup option?

Have you seen their OL? Or their coaching situation? Not that it's impossible for him to pick them, but backup to #1 (or 2) back in the country is hardly some kind of crazy slight against Williams. Our staffs were both clearly on him before the recruiting services were.

Really glad we ended up with Williams. Really wasn’t big on most of the other guys we were after.

Williams is a productive guy. AU always has good backs. This guy will be a good back for you guys.

I hope he will be able to break tackles because based upon our shitty o line, he will get hit a lot in the backfield.

I really like Williams. He's going to be really, really good, in my opinion.
Great pickup. I think he is criminally underrated.

If George Pickens qualifies Auburn got themselves a nice offensive skill position haul in this class.

But with a shitty coach who doesn't know how to draw up WR route patterns and with an O line that can't block.
