He just isn't an SEC caliber DT.

I don't see most recruits play but Cheney was a top 100 recruit before summer camps when his ratings dropped like a rock. I thought he was a Da'ron Payne type DT. I'm hearing he has been solid this year.

He was a top 100 DT when he committed to the Dawgs. I can't recall a recruits rating ever dropping like that. Only ESPN have him as a 4*. That up in the air when they update their rankings. What happened?

I'm 75% on Dean right now. I believe LSU is the real threat, to be honest. (Not trying to stir here.) I'd be surprised if he goes to UGa based on some pretty credible info on the Bama side (who thinks LSU is the threat to Bama). We'll see.

LSU is probably 4th in the running for Dean’s services pre-visit. We will see how he feels when he leaves here in a bit

I'm obviously a homer, but I think LSU's pitch is so easy. I'd be shocked if we aren't a real threat coming out of his OV. Nakboe Dean's host is Devin White, and if having the current Butkus award winner in your ear all weekend doesn't make you seriously consider LSU, I'd be shocked. Not to mention all our big time commits (Stingley, Kardell) are there this weekend too, and we are pushing for a commitment from his HS teammate Jones.... Like I said, I'm a homer, but it seems like a really compelling pitch. I'd pick LSU if I were him
