Guy plays lazy and undisciplined. Red flags in my book. Glad UGA didn’t heavily pursue.
The guy is a unanimous 5-star player, at a premium position. I’d take the red flags

Obviously you're too stupid to understand what the role of a coach and leader is for these teenagers.
OMG the irony of these idiots' existence.
Listen, dude, I'm glad they didn't pursue heavily because it allows UGA to invest more in getting players like Clay Webb, Nolan Smith, and Nakobe Dean. Nobody can cultivate the kinds of relationships necessary to pursue every single 5-star in a way that would make these kids sign.
So in a world of finite resources, would you like your highest investment most talented recruits to be your best leaders, hardest workers, and most dependable character guys?
At 18 Sopsher and Nolan Smith are both wildly athletic. Difference: Nolan Smith has the kind of technique that only smart, highly coachable players develop that young. Sopsher technique is sloppy at best and non-existent at worst.
Dean is the best player on his team and he works twice as hard as anybody on the field. Sopsher quits on plays - a lot of them.
Clay Webb seems to want to know everything about every position on the field. Sopsher frankly looks kinda lost or uninterested way too much.
On a team, your leaders are your destiny. UGA is requiting quality athletes and quality leaders. Sopsher seems like more of an LSU guy TBH.

Dumbest reply.. possibly ever.
You went from saying Kirby shouldn't recruit him because you believe he is lazy to Kirby shouldn't because apparently it would have impaired getting other players.
You are literally making up bullshite about a player to justify the bullshite you're spewing about the player.... and he's the one with character flaws?
Look in the mirror.

Let me first say that I hope LSU gets him, but I do have some concerns. I watched him during some camps and he clearly was dominated on some plays and looked dominate on others. My biggest concern is his overall work ethic. He seems to have a high motor sometimes, but others he appears absolutely disinterested. I'm hoping with good coaching and better players around him that he will raise his level of play to where it should be.

I like him for bama rotation

Dude you are mischaracterizing what I said (again) to troll me - I guess? I dunno. Maybe you really didn't understand. Either way, OK.
Maybe the kid proves me wrong, but I think Kirby had the right idea by more heavily pursuing talented kids who exemplify the traits he wants in his team.

The same Scott Cochran that used to participate in the "Elephant Walk" as a FIJI?

Kirby knew Sopsher was not as interested in Georgia and these coaches know when to move on or keep investing time on a recruit.
? did Kirby quit pursuing Trey Sanders to concentrate on other recruits?
Right now there are no sure things as far as which player or players become team leaders and starters leading to championships. The one thing we do know is finishing higher in the recruiting rankings every year gives teams depth and quality players. Finishing 1st every year makes you dominate.

Does Cochran inject the roids into the player’s arse himself or just demonstrate? Asking for a friend.

Alabama has a way of getting these red flag lazy kids playing hard for 3-4 years

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — If a school wants No. 1 defensive tackle Ishmael Sopsher, then they will need to sign his brother Rodney Sopsher out of Junior College too.
That is the only way the five-star defensive tackle out of Amite (La.) will even consider a school.
"We are going to school together," said Sopsher. "If a school does not offer us both, then I am not even going to consider signing with them in February. I am just going to wait and see who decides to offer us, but the biggest factor for me choosing a school is us going to school together."
Only one school has told both Sopsher's they have a scholarship and that is LSU.
"As of right now, LSU is the only one who has offered us both. They have a place for Rodney and that is very important to me. That does not really change the way I feel about LSU, but it stands out because I know they have a place for him."
Most have viewed the race for Sopsher as a battle between Alabama and LSU from the beginning. There has been a lot of chatter about the Crimson Tide having the edge heading into the final month, but is that accurate?
"I really do not know where that comes from," said Sopsher. "Alabama is a great school and I have been there a lot, but I do not have them on top. All schools are even for me right now.
"I like them, I am still looking into them and I am just waiting to see what they say about my brother as we get closer to Signing Day. Alabama does not lead though."
Sopsher used the "wait and see" phrase numerous times in this interview. He has discussed his brother with a number of schools, so now he will wait and see what happened in the coming weeks as he prepares to sign February 6.
"I know Ole Miss is looking into it, I know Alabama is looking into it and some schools are seeing what they can to get him in too. I know I will talk to about five or six schools about it again soon. I just want to see what schools will have a spot for him."
Along with Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss; Florida State, Oregon, Texas and Texas A&M remain in contact with Sopsher he said. He has yet to schedule any official visits for January, but ones to LSU and Ole Miss are likely to take place the last two weekends before Signing Day.
With the offer to both Sopsher's, it could be tough to beat the in-state school in the end.
"Me and coach O (Ed Orgeron) are really close," said Sopsher. "We talk almost every a day and he continues to show me a lot of love. We have a very close relationship. I have known him for so long and that is part of the reason LSU is a school I like so much.
"Them offering my brother is so important too. There is zero chance we go separate ways. Me and Rodney will go to school together, so LSU giving us that chance does stand out."
Congrats LSU.

Many people eluded to this but glad the kid finally said it. Bama isn't gonna waste a scholly on his brother
Congrats and good luck to him at LSU
