And Chiz will see some good things and some things that need improvement.

Didn't Jovon go in for a summer short semester and do pretty well? I thought I read that. If that is the case, then that might help in his favor with all this going on. I could see JR have to redshirt this year while this plays out but I think he will be back practicing, I don't think the NCAA can say much about Auburn letting him continue to practice while the investigation goes on.
I hope the coaches don't chance it and get us in trouble somehow by letting him practice.

I know that the accusations of "crazy" or "bitter" will follow but, at this point, I just don't want the kid.

I'm sure the coaches do and that they continue to recruit him. And I'm all for them doing what they consider to be best.

But I just don't care. Do we need TE's? IMO, no.

Could we always use one of the best TE's in the country? Of course.

But at this point, on this team, we absolutely have greater needs. I'd prefer they fill the open positions with kids who fill those needs rather than a player who obviously doesn't appreciate Auburn for giving him attention and respect (pretty much the converse of that, actually).

I agree with this. I would rather us get another 4 star safety, OL, DB or WR instead of another TE.

OJ could very well end up at WR. He's drawn comparisons to Calvin Johnson, and ran a 4.4 at The Opening I believe. He's a guy we will continue to try to sway no matter what. He's a special athlete

I don't see Howard playing TE unless that is what he wants

They already pulled him from practice.

The update on 247 has already been posted on the previous page.

I agree with you. If Howard project as a WR, then I'm all for it.

Rivals take.

With that said, it seems likely that Robinson will be forced to redshirt this season as the NCAA grinds through its investigation at the NCAA's typically slow pace. And that's if Robinson didn't know about the changes.

If he did authorize the changes or was at least aware of them, Robinson almost surely will be headed for junior college.

As for Auburn, it hasn't been accused of anything.

Haven't seen any yet, but..

The starting OL was LT Greg Robinson, LG Alex Kozan, C Reese Dismukes, RG Chad Slade and RT Avery Young

The second team OL was LT Shon Coleman, LG John Sullen, C Tunde Fariyike, RG Christian Westerman and RT Patrick Miller

The offense scored on three of its first five possessions -- 2 FGs and 1 TD.

Robenson Therezie didn't participate in the scrimmage, reason unknown. The first team corners were Chris Davis and T'Sharvan Bell, and the safeties were Jermaine Whitehead and Ryan Smith. Smith played well.

Ryan White was the nickel cornerback.

The first team LB's were Daren Bates (Will), Jake Holland (Mike) and Justin Garrett (Sam).

BM just said Therezie's injury is not serious. I guess they didn't want to risk anything

This worries me a little. That's a really, really young line.

Frick, I hope he's not hurt. If there's one guy I may be most excited about on our defense this year, it would be him (with Kris Frost a close second).

BTW, where you there, blzr?

Interesting that Garrett started over him today. Not sure what to take away from that.

Garrett started over him Wednesday too. Garrett is gonna be a good player once he puts on a little more weight. He's 215 right now, which is enough, but he'll fully reach his potential with a few more pounds.

And shocker, Chizik's breakdown of the scrimmage: Inconsistent, no separation at QB, we got a long way to go, good sometimes, not good sometimes.
