Over everyones favorite in Frost?

Sounds to me like we are still having issues at LBer.

It didn't say ahead of Frost it just said Garret and Evans working at strongside. It did however say Cassinova over Holland

I've heard Frost and Swain are at one side, with Evans and Garret behind Bates on the other side.

I think McKinzy would be a quick fix this year with Foster coming in next year. Foster is already going to practices and learning stuff as a High School Senior. McKinzy could shift out to OLB opposite of Frost.

I wouldn't, if Holland knows that defense better he's got to be out there.

It would be interesting to see if McKinzy takes the starting spot and gets a year of experience, if Foster could come in and wrestle it from him. McKinzy isn't a slouch. He has gotten big and fast and with a year's knowledge, he could keep the spot.

Blake Burgess was lined up at fullback during the brief — one or two plays — that media were able to see full-team offensive drill..

I think that answers some questions about our recruiting of fullbacks and our backup.

The interdasting part about all of this, though, is that Foster is already learning the defense. Given, he wouldn't have all the Yoxercise that McKinzy would have had, but Foster doesn't exactly look like he needs it, either.

Holland shouldnt know the BVG D that much better than cass, so that goes out the window.. Cass is a MONSTER.. Holland plays hard, but it just isnt enough in the SEC

Why would we redshirt the best linebacker recruit since 2005, when it is also a definite position of need?

Honestly I think Holland will be a very solid player if he can stay healthy. That dude was insanely banged up last year. If we had ANY depth at LB last year he would've sat for probably 2-4 weeks and recovered his wrist and ankle last year. But he had to play through it and it showed that he wasn't 100%.

I think if he's 100% that he'll be very valuable to AU's defense.

Didnt say we would, but a redshirt for Foster is just as likely as Cass moving over to OLB. Especially if Cass is the starter for a season. Experince is very valuable. Plus he has a year of Yoxercising and eating Chick-fil-a on Foster.

Won't happen unless he gets injured. Period. I would take him at MLB over anyone we have right now.

Word on Frost during this time was that he's expected to be a big part of special teams and that those guys were working while the press was allowed in.

Ware Eagle Extra

They get approx 20 min to watch.

From Vids I've seen Holland, Frost and Bates seem to be getting first looks. But with the pads coming on all that will change. I will say A. Swain looks the part.

Meaning not a 205 lb backer.
