Watch it. I think you had a moment where you forgot where the hell you are.

He claims no leaders, but we look to be the favorite now. He cancelled a visit for Clemson's biggest recruiting weekend of the year to come to Auburn, and took his mom for the second time (she hasn't been anywhere else) so I feel pretty confident. Plus he's close with Carl Lawson and Reuben Foster, who are recruiting him hard

First play of the 2014 Iron Bowl Montravious and Reuben run into each other trying to tackle TJ Yeldon, TD Bama. Both sit out the rest of the game with concussions.

There's about 40-50 lbs of difference between Foster as a HS senior and Blackmon as a HS senior.

I guess I was just comparing because of the position and hype

I don't even really recall blackmon's weight and everything, but I remember him being huge so reuben being 30 pounds heavier is even more awesome

can't see him not being good

Good to see you're still handling it like a child.

Looks like we know why Dye committed to Clemson:
quote:

1. Five-star Derrick Green, the nation's No. 1 running back, and his family are planning to stay in Auburn until Sunday. It appears they are all enjoying their weekend visit to the Plains and the Tigers have, by all accounts, made a very good impression. Green was planning to leave Auburn and visit Ole Miss, but that looks unlikely at this time. Green and family will instead head back to their home in Virginia after leaving Auburn. Green hasn't indicated that he plans to make a decision anytime soon, but Auburn might be locking itself in as a serious contender for the long haul this weekend (unless No. 3 happens first).
quote:

3. Rivals100 running back Greg Bryant, Jr. has been committed to Oklahoma since he visited there in March, but his pledge to the Sooners might not last much longer. Bryant, Jr. could be on the verge of a decommitment from OU and a return trip to Auburn next week. If Bryant, Jr. were to decommit from OU and visit AU next week, look out for the Tigers. Auburn would likely go ahead and take Bryant, Jr. should he want to switch his commitment and not risk losing him by waiting on Green to make a decision, something Green doesn't plan to do at this time until later in the process. An update on Bryant, Jr. should be out today.

I'm wondering what our stance was with Wilkins.... hopefully we were up front with the idea of taking two RBs (which we probably were).

Im just a little gun-shy after the 2010 mess with RB recruiting... having howard and dyer on board, but still pursuing Lattimore... we ended up losing out on howard (who could've been in line for some serious PT in 2012).

Different situations, I know, but still have to wonder.

Was there anything more than just speculation as to the idea that Wilkins held off on his commitment to us because he wanted to contemplate if he wanted to be part of a 2 rb class?

Still not sure on taking (2) RB's. It's gonna be hard to keep guys that talented on the roster if they aren't getting playing time.
