So, let's talk numbers.

Can we take more than 21?

This is all hypothetical of course. With 16 now, we'll obviously take Adams if he wants to come and T Matthews too, I would assume. Wilkins most likely at RB. That puts us at 19, with maybe 2 more spots left. Do we take another WR? I have to think we take at least 1 interior OL. I'm guessing Crowder is at the top of the list now.

Any guesses on how we finish? How many we take?

I'm skeptical it's him.

It's him. Cam Luper's twitter confirmed it.

Not likely, this staff is focusing on 19-20 unless we have some major career ending injuries.

21 was our number. I am sure we will lose one or two. I feel like we will lose one of our ILB guys already committed. Maybe Johnson can move outside. Not sure....

Right now, Adams is stronger to Clemson than us. Hopfully, brining in Foster will change that.

I think most of the guys we have are pretty solid. Trey Johnson has been talking to Van Gorder about playing OLB for a while now and he was really recruiting Foster. Doesn't mean he definitely won't flip, but I think he's pretty solid, as well as Toney. Not sure about Davis.

I just don't see any decommits at this point. So, if we can only take 21 max, we're just about done. It's amazing to me that we have 16 commits halfway through July. That's unheard of for us.

We really need another safety too.

Am I the only one who thinks Trooper was behind the use of TJ Yeldon's words in regards to RF's commitment today? I personally can't see Chiz signing off on something like that. I'm just a little bothered by the fact that flipping him from bammer wasn't enough. We let a guy with no real known animosity towards bama unknowingly come across looking classless today.. I just don't believe for a second RF decided on his own to read TJ's exact commitment speech.

Anyway, great pickup for us. I just hope the speech shenanigans don't come back and bite us in the arse in regards to his commitment.

Who cares. Bama has shown zero class in the past so why in the hell should we. I love it. It is a big frick you to them for the TJ thing. It says we are not going to take your shite and back down from you. Good for whomever was behind it.

Yeah it's great if RF is knowingly in on a big frick you to bama, but what if he wasn't. My point being there is possibly a lot riding on RF as far as other commitments. Is it worth making him look like a jackass and pissing him off just to send a big frick you to saban/bama?

It was a really stupid idea imo.

I really haven't given his statement much thought. I don't think it is a big deal really. Too much speculation involved and not worth the time. It's a heated rivalry that seems to be getting more intense each year. I am just happy that we have a coaching staff that kicks arse, and won't concede to anyone. I loves me some cow college.

I like Mark Murphy's note on Foster...

The AHS coaches had to remind him to hold back during spring drills so he wouldn't injure his teammates.

Good for Reuben if he is getting heckled my Bama fans that say they don't need him, but I dont ever really remember anyone saying we need you Reuben!!! Dont leave us lol. Would love to have him, but Ragland and Depriest will get the job done just as well. If he wanted to jump back over then it would just give Alabama more reason to become more situational and dangerous. All in all you have a solid LB core with Johnson, Frost, and Foster with Toney and Mckinzy coming off the bench. Good for you guys, I would also like to say I am only a bama supporter and dont bash other teams for the record.
