Here some articles that are out there. Again it may be all legit but this is the same kind of thing that was going on with the school J Wall(BBall) went to and is under investigation here in this state. Just hope this school is not taking advantage of these players.

Now that I read your post, I guess there could be some concern regarding eligibility, but I'd assume that those players have already spoken to the NCAA and asked about the Clearinghouse before they made this move.

A Hill was cleared as well, enrolled in summer school at and passed 3 classes and the NCAA came back and ruled him ineligible.

I am not saying AU or anyone involved with the recruiting of these kids has done any wrong

Riiiiight. Bama boards have already started the conspiracy theories claiming AU is cheating when it comes to recruits from this school.

I guarantee you AU's staff knew about all of this before any bammer. If they feel comfortable taking committments from these recruits I'm sure they've done their homework

that alot of concerns with those players from MD.

Didn't realize Goldman was from MD? I learn something new everyday...

concerns would be from Bama fans who are mad after Eddie Goldman spurned them last year
Hey...it wasn't just us that was disappointed....what about Cal?

I hope he doesn't, but if he does, the best of luck to him in every game but one.

From BM on Irvin-Sills:
quote:

Irvin-Sills had not been real high on Auburn’s board initially because he didn’t fit the profile VanGorder wants in cornerbacks -- being at least 6-foot tall. But when VanGorder saw him in-person, he thought Irvin-Sills was the best corner he’d seen all spring and was a no-doubter as far as his speed, change of direction, physical play, aggressiveness and toughness.

Auburn expects Irvin-Sills to come in ready to play next summer.

Nice. If the coaches have that much confidence in his ability then I'm very excited about him.

Yeah, we offered him a couple weeks back, but we're a bit late to the party probably. Lots of ground to make up

I'm sure he would be, but I have no clue of any mutual contact.

We're supposed to be on this kid pretty hard...Our staff wants him to be the ending piece for our WR class.

Trey Johnson is having a great visit to Auburn. He's spent a lot of time just watching Brian VanGorder today. He won't leave until Tuesday, his coach Todd Wofford is here helping out with the camp.

Johnson has spoken with both Tashawn Bower and Jordan Wilkins, no doubt recruiting for the Tigers.

I'll have more on Johnson's visit either tomorrow or later in the week.
