His numbers are ridiculous. The Burns kid that plays QB is another I really like. I hope we can get him down for a visit. He looks like Andrew Luck made over.

Yeah that's him. I don't know how interested he is. I just saw his highlights and said "damn..."

He looks like a LBer playing RB. Runs to vertical, which is a problem for all tall RBs. Is he really 6'3?

A lot of NFL RBs are taller than 6 feet. The weakness of "running too upright" is overblown. And I'd say he looks more like a WR playing RB than a LB.

No clue, but we made a big enough impression to get one of his official visits. He likes us enough to start talking with Jordan Diamond about Auburn. I'd still bet on him staying closer to home, but we at least have our foot in the door.

Auburn signed one of the nation’s top offensive tackles out of Chicago a few weeks ago. Now, the Tigers are pursuing a Chicago-area running back considered one of the country’s best in the 2013 class.
Isaac is the nation's No. 4 RB.
Ty Isaac, a standout from Catholic Academy in Joliet, Ill., a suburb of Chicago, visited Auburn Friday night. Isaac and his father spent time with several Auburn coaches including running backs coach Curtis Luper.
“We got down here and definitely checked it out,” Isaac said. “Had a good time. Saw a lot of things. Went to the stadium and locker room. I really liked it. I’ll definitely stay in touch with these guys and just go from here.
“...A lot of coaches can get on the phone and tell you what they want to tell you, but it makes a difference when you’re in person and on campus and really get to see what’s what.”
Isaac was only in Auburn for a few hours before returning to Atlanta to be with his mother and sister. The family came down this weekend for his younger sister’s cheerleading competition.
Still, the short visit made a good impression and Isaac would like to return for an official visit, possibly for a game this fall.
“This is a great place,” he said. “It kind of surprised me in some of the things I saw and the way these guys are. It’s a good place and I’m definitely going to stay in contact.
“...Just the whole overall feeling. I’ve never been down to the South for football. But it’s a slower pace and it seems a little bit simpler. Then they talk to you and it’s just a good place.”
Auburn signed offensive tackle Jordan Diamond out of Simeon High School in Chicago in the 2012 class.
“I wouldn’t say we’re close but we’ve been around the same places and we’ve spoke here and there,” Isaac said. “We know quite a few of the same people. They definitely spoke about him in their recruiting pitch and I’ll definitely get in touch with him just to see how his feelings are.”
Isaac, 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, has more than 20 offers including Auburn, Arkansas, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC, Wisconsin, Washington, Clemson, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Arizona and Purdue. He remains wide open in the recruiting process with no favorites.
“Schools are offering and some schools you know you won’t be able to visit but there are some that I’ve targeted I want to get out to and opportunities like this I wasn’t going to pass up to come out and check the school out. And I was glad I did,” he said.
“...Honestly before they (Auburn) offered they weren’t even on the radar. I go down there and it’s just a good place to be. I’m going to keep it open and after I visit some schools I’m interested in, then I’ll go from there.”
While Isaac doesn’t have a set timetable for a decision, he knows he won’t wait until Signing Day.
“I know it will be before then but this isn’t something I want to rush,” he said.
One issue that won’t factor into Isaac’s decision will be the distance from home.
“It’s not an issue,” he said. “I have family in Mississippi and Tennessee so I’m close to some type of home.”
Isaac had a huge junior season rushing for 2,629 yards and 42 touchdowns on 203 carries. He added 16 receptions for 360 yards and seven touchdowns, and returned one punt and one kickoff for touchdowns.
Joliet lost 70-45 to Montini in the Class 5A state championship despite Isaac rushing for a 515 yards and six touchdowns on 26 carries.
“Obviously, I wish we would have won because that’s a lot more important, but it’s something cool to say you did. I really enjoyed it,” he said. “I think our team is going to be better next year with a better line.”

Would be huge for Auburn to get him. Would be Badass to pull him out of there. Fit the offense perfectly.

While I was and still am a big fan of Malzahn, I think one of the flaws of his offense is it has almost all one-read passing plays. You're gonna throw it to the first option or tuck it and run.
Wow... the stupid. It burns.
