Next month, Jones plans to increase his camp visits and go see a couple of SEC programs he didn't get around to visiting this month.
"I am working on getting to Auburn and Mississippi State," said Jones. "I know their camps are over with for this month. But Mississippi State said they want me to come there for the Big Dawg Camp."
For much of his recruitment Jones has put Auburn, Alabama and Mississippi State in his Top 3 favorites with a rotating leader between Auburn and Alabama. Of late, Jones said he isn't exactly sure where his offers stand with one of these schools and that has him looking at a different scenario.
"Those three are still the main three I am looking at," said Jones. "But I am not sure if I have a committable offer from Auburn or not but I am hoping I do. I do have offers from Alabama and Mississippi State, too. If I have a committable offer from Auburn then they are my leader. If not then it is Mississippi State."
Like he has a committable offer to Alabama.

My guess is he winds up at State like the half a dozen other D1 calibre players in Alabama this year who don't have spots at Bama or Auburn

Sounds like he knows there is no chance he will get one from Alabama and is trying to play it in hopes he will at least get one from Auburn.

Yes because alabama is just dying for defensive linemen. Check the stats holmes, rushing yards given up is a pretty good indicator of where your dline stands
