Trust me, you lost out on Robinson a year ago. He'll play the game, but he'll be at LSU

Robinson, Jones and Sims are going to very hard to pull from LSU. Willis is up in the air but his dad is a much bigger factor than Bama thinks. He's all LSU but we'll see how momma goes. Could be a battle or could be over early. Fournette is a complete other story and will have the NCAA keeping a very watchful eye out, on both sides. Could even have some legal consequences down the line. Ugly, ugly, ugly. I may sit that one out.

On Willis I care not about dad, mom is all Bama and Dad was with them at Aday with a Moosehead "21 - 0" shirt on and Script A hat so I'm inclined to think he knows GW's wishes and will go along with them and you're absolutely right about it ending soon possibly, Gerald was telling a couple ppl at the game he almost committed a day after LC's announcement to Bama, and Mom said no and after everything smoothed over she was asking him to commit to Bama lol so I see that situation as a pretty heavy lead.
On Fournette I've heard rumors about LSU booster tampering etc at the school and GAs etc having free reign and all was halted with the new regime as they just hired, and it is a big plus for Bama, I Think we land him as of now, but don't think we get Robinson the OT I know there are some strong LSU ties there at his HS, but with LF they were recently severed and Bama ties were planted

What's the chances on the Canes pulling Henry?

So Alabama plans on taking about 5 or 6 RBs over the next 2 classes while only losing Lacy and Fowler?

The only team that Bama really has to compete with other than UGA is Tennessee. Now if he decides to hold off and more teams enter the picture, that remains to be seen.

Bama has taken at least 2 a year since Saban arrived. '10 only had Hart as a true RB, but Calloway technically started out there too.

Just wondering because Fournette has made it known he wants to play early, which is why we are probably not taking any Rbs in this class and maybe 1 other besides Leonard next year. And Alabama would have 8 Rbs on scholarship if ya'll get who you think you are going to get.

Did I miss something here. He is visiting Miami?

If Fournette wants to play early, then he will have to earn that PT. We won't not recruit great RB prospects because a future recruit might commit to us.

Eh, its just another recruiting tool. "We only want you" from a major college program is a pretty big ego boost to a 17 year old kid and that appears to be the card we are playing.

Buccs, if there is one thing that this past week should have taught us, it is that these are still kids and kids think with emotions that change every day. Any kid that did not grow up going to games most weekends can forget about what might be best for him and pull the trigger for anywhere based on the best or most recent high.
At least we do know that Alabama and LSU will have plenty to talk about next winter after we play again in Miami.

If that what he is looking for, then it's definitely in LSU's favor. I thought he was going there anyway, so it only instills my belief further.
I'm happy with with Bo and Rock in '14, and I'm sure LSU will be plenty happy with Leonard...
ETA: But that's not to say I'm completely convinced Bo will play RB in college.

Has anyone confirmed if MA is on campus? Was it supposed to be today or tomorrow?

I know man each year the term of "Lock" with regards to recruiting dwindles, kids who were raised as huge fans still look at all opportunities as they should, the last 2 true "LOCKS" Bama had who were raised Bama fans and were going there regardless are Eddie Williams and AJ McCarron, and even Be Scarborough lives in Ttown and I won't put that moniker on him

Les to LF:
"Come be a part of this damn fine football team and damn fine football program, and you can be a valued member of the 8 RB rotation club, take your number, maybe if you're good enough you will amass more than 9 carries a game"
Nick to LF:
Come win a Heisman as the main back like Ingram, come be TRENT, and be seen as the baddest man in the draft.
DONE DEAL
this was a j/k BTW
LSU fans have been touchy lately so I had to give you a little bit of it back Lol
