I was pissed when Durron Neal picked OU. Kid was electric on film and claimed he grew up a Bama fan. We still did alright at WR but I would take Neal over any of our slot guys.

Any of you who are near Tuscaloosa can come to the Green Bar next week at 7:30 to hear me slang some jokes. Other comics will be there too. Never played this place before.....so I don't know how it'll go. We'll all get drunk and eat huddle house if nothing else.

Do you do well with hecklers?

I do ok. I've only had 2 in about 2 years, and one was a slut I knew from high school. The other was just a random drunk dude in San Antonio

before you start ask them to put up the chicken wire, cuts way down on beer bottles...just saying

Most people don't really want to heckle, but occasionally you get people who talk amongst their friends at some of the hole in the wall spots. That always confuses me. Why would you come to a bar that is having comedy night to try to talk over someone with a microphone? My go to for that is always "Hey sir....your conversation about existentialism or how your girlfriends pussy stinks is not more important than my comedy"

This is something I never understood. The guy was a huge fan, bragged the he knew every player/position and their number for UA. Everytime he commented on UA is sounded like he was about to commit on the spot.

Yes, I’ve been hearing all that stuff, and it’s just rumors,” Jones told the AJC on Tuesday night. “People are trying to get me to go over to Georgia. I’m not worried about all the rumors. I’m 100-percent committed to Alabama.”
Ruh roh, a certain fanbase isnt going to like this, especially since their highly regarded "insiders" say otherwise.
I just dont see how they can continue to make up lie after lie. First it was Jones was pissed when he found out we were taking three RBs, then it was Jones was going to flip if we took Henry.

Haha. I wonder if they can express me a Fredi Gonzalez jersey in time for the show? I'm gonna put it on my friend Zach. He goes before me and then you'll have it all out of your system. He'll be really confused as to why you're yelling at him about not pulling pitchers fast enough

I went to my first improv comedy show a few months ago. I really enjoyed it. How does this relate? I think Tyren Jones would enjoy it too.

Altee Tenpenny, the No. 8 running back in the class of 2013, visited the University of Alabama's football camp Sunday through Tuesday of last week, and said he loved every minute of it.
The thing is Tenpenny didn't participate in any of the drills.
Instead, the four-star, North Little Rock, Ark., native spent most of the time cementing his "very solid" verbal commitment to the Crimson Tide by talking with coaches, getting to know his fellow camp mates, and, of course, trying to recruit some talent to Alabama.
"I mean, I wasn't doing much out there," Tenpenny said. "I wasn't participating in camp, I just felt like going down there, hanging out, trying to get a few guys to commit. I didn't attend the camp, I was just on the list."
Tenpenny said while he wasn't trying to recruit talent to Tuscaloosa, he was talking with his future coaches in Doug Nussmeier, Jeff Stoutland and Burton Burns, the offensive coordinator, offensive line coach and running backs coach, respectively.
Tenpenny said he was also able to converse with head coach Nick Saban, and that he was excited to get to campus to start playing.
"He was asking me about how I feel about half the guys up there were committed," Tenpenny said. "And he told me he can't wait until I get up there."
Tenpenny said one of the things he was most looking forward to when attending Alabama was being able to be run with Alabama's already-talented group of running backs. Indeed, Tenpenny said he thinks he can be one of the next big running backs to come through Tuscaloosa.
"Hopefully, I can just follow up the great tradition they have and be the best they have," Tenpenny said. "That's all I can do. Follow up. Anywhere I go, that's my goal."
Tenpenny missed his junior year of football at North Little Rock High School after breaking his ankle. Still, the previous year, Tenpenny was able to rush for 1,121 yards and 15 rushing touchdowns. At 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds, Tenpenny said the best things he brings to the table as a running back are his speed and vision, but could do to add some physicality to his game.
"Just running down hill more," Tenpenny said. "Running with more power."
In the meantime, Tenpenny said he would remained focused on his senior year of high school, trying to make some final adjustments and improvements to his game, and helping his high school to a championship in preparation for his eventual move to Alabama.
Still, despite his eagerness to make it to the Capstone, Tenpenny said he wouldn't mind having to wait for his chance to be one of the great next Alabama backs.
"I figure I can wait my turn," Tenpenny said. "And I can learn what a great running back there has to be that I do."

Improv is cool. A lot of my stand up friends to improv as well. I've done it before. It's just different. Improv is about quick wit with others. Stand up is about sharp wit by yourself.
Altee Tenpenny runs like an improv guy....shifty and working with others. Derrick Henry is a straight at you kind of guy.

Has anyone pointed out that Altee looks like Yoshi from Mario Brothers? I can't remember if I saw that on here or if I thought it.
