Saw on UT boards so not sure the source that B Langley is down to UA and UT and will commit Aug 25th. UA is also still 1 and UT 2
UT boards are full of delusion...also I wouldn't count langley until he signed on the line, you can say that about most kids but him especially. I've never seen a prospect flip flop on his favorites as often or in as short of a time frame as langley. I think he has named georgia bama and UT his favorite at different points this summer

I know we talked about it on Sun, seemed like the best option, HUGE sleeper for them

Tashawn Bower just committed, so I don't know how much room we have left for Walker.

You make room for a talent like Walker. Can never have enough talented D linemen in the SEC. It's the lifeblood of the conference's dominance. Bower's also completely different than Walker. I actually think Walker will end up inside eventually.

Nothing new yet. He's still better than LSU's scholarship long snapper, but that news is Germans.

There's a problem...
I agree, and I'd love to have Walker, but Auburn already has Liner, Lawson, and Bower committed, while we also lead big for Monty Adams. Plus, defensive line is our deepest position on the team. We just have needs in other places right now.

Cornerback is pretty deep, but not safety. We only have 3 scholarship safeties on roster.

Put Liner at FS and Lawson at SS. Maybe they will quit looking for a better place to go when they start getting attn as skill type players in the Auburn system.

So does that mean you wont be taking Bigelow?

Not all of your current DL commitments will be commitments come NSD, and I'm not just referring to Liner potentially flipping either.

Same shite, different year.

He's a long shot, but I have no clue. I'd rather get players at positions of need now.

Jonathan Cook, three-star cornerback from Spanish Fort High School in Ala., attended camps last week at a couple of SEC schools. He spent more time with one of the coaching staffs. Andrew Bone has the latest news...
"I went to the Alabama camp last week," said Jonathan Cook. "I had fun there. I talked to coach Saban at the end. He told me he wants me to come. He said at worst they want me to come in January.
"He said they have offered most of their scholarships. He wants me there though. He wants to talk to my parents when our team goes up for 7-on-7.
"I felt like I did really good at the camp. There wasn’t anyone who could beat me. I had two interceptions. One guy caught a pass when I slipped, but that was it.
"I talked to coach Pruitt. I always talk to him. He wants me to come up there. They wanted to see me run my 40. I ran a 4.56 out there."
Cook did not hesitate when asked his top schools.
"Alabama is where I want to be," he said. "It’s my top school. I think they have the best DB coach. That’s who I want to be coached by. I just like everything. Thar’s where I want to go."
Cook also performed well at Auburn's camp. He didn’t have much interaction with the coaching staff.
"The Auburn camp was all right," Cook said. "There wasn’t anyone who caught passes on me. I talked to coach Martinez before the camp. That was about it. Nobody caught anything on me. I had an interception. I am not sure what they are waiting on.
"Coach Martinez likes me a lot. He is glad I came out to the camp. He is the only coach I talked to. The camp was all right though. That's about it."

Did I hear grayshirt for Cook and he seems to have no issue with it.
