I want Moss. I'm not sure the staff feels as strongly as I do though

"I went to the Alabama camp today," said E.J. Moss. "It was really good. I learned some stuff I need to work on. My passing has improved tremendously from last year. I got good words from the coaches. I feel like I made some progress.

"I spoke with coach Nussmeier. I talked to coach Saban for a little bit. Those were the only two coaches I spoke with. Coach Saban asked how I was doing. He told me my mechanics were better. Coach Nussmeier gave me a lot of pointers. He told me what I got better at doing. He is a pretty cool guy."

Moss talked of the things which were the enjoyable part of the camp.

"I loved doing the one-on-ones and seven-on-sevens," he said. "That was a lot of fun. The coaches had me and a few other guys throwing for them. I really liked that a lot. I just enjoyed the whole environment down there.”

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound athlete has received interest from the Tide since his freshman year of high school.

"Alabama is a really good team," Moss said. "I like the coaches. I like the whole football environment."

Moss will attend the Auburn camp this Sunday, Mississippi State next Monday and Tennessee next Tuesday.

I like Moss too. Although I have to admit I don't think I've seen any film from his soph year yet.

I do too. His uncle posts on BOL and he said Ashville's new coach is going to install a pass heavy offense this year so EJ will throw the ball a lot more than he has the last two seasons when they ran a run heavy spread option offense.

I wish I could get my hands on his Sophomore film, but it's only on Hudl and it's private.

I dont care whether he ends up at Hback or loses 20 pounds and becomes a badass WR and Henry is Hback, just excited about his talent

OJ would be skinny as frick if he lost 20 pounds. He could gain another 10-15 pounds at 6'6" and still play WR.

Beaumont (Texas) Ozen safety Tony Brown was one of a number of top underclassmen to take part in Alabama’s prospect camp held this week. The 6-foot, 190-pounder was in Tuscaloosa from Sunday to Tuesday and left town with an offer from Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.

“I love the facilities, I love their work ethic and the program, and l learned a lot of stuff from Coach Saban. I met with him and he offered me,” said Brown.

“He said that the thing he liked most about me was that I was really good at all the positions in the secondary. He said I could come and play any position on the field whether it be the nickel back, the free safety, the strong safety, or the lock down corner. He said I’m versatile and he could put me wherever he needed me.

The offer goes a long way with Brown, who also holds tenders from LSU, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, and TCU.

“I mean the national champs offered me, so I feel good. It makes me want to work harder. It doesn’t really get much better than Coach Saban coaching me. He’s so hands on with the defensive backs at Alabama.

"This was my first time at Alabama. There’s a lot of construction going on, so I know the facilities are going to be new. The workout facilities and all that are top of the line. Seeing as I only have five schools that have offered me, they’re obviously in my top five.”

Running backs coach Burton Burns is recruiting Brown for Alabama and the two have begun to build a strong relationship.

“Coach Burns is recruiting me. We’re really cool. I talk to him all the time. He already knows my dad and my mom.”

Brown bonded with a few other top prospects in his three days at Alabama, including Jonathan Cook, Laurence Jones, and Reuben Foster.

"A DB named Jonathan Cook from Alabama and I hung out with Laurence Jones a DB from my class and the big LB that is committed to Alabama (Reuben Foster). I think me and Laurence are two of the better DB’s in the class of ’14 in the nation."

The four-star east Texas prospect plans to participate in Mississippi State’s camp as he heads home and will be in Austin this weekend.

“I’m going to Texas this Sunday. I’m leaving Alabama and going to Mississippi State. I’m probably going to work out there. I have a 7-on-7 team I play with called the Goon Squad and we’re going to take a road trip for the nationals in Brooklyn and I’m going to stop at a lot of places, but I don't remember the names of all the schools.”

Brown has a grade of 93 from 247sports.

I see what you mean. They have that Hack of a QB that is going to Penn State as the #1 QB and #10 over-all.

At least you are being objective about him. Most people will say "frick him" after the way he handled his decommitment, but the truth is Burns is a fantastic player with elite speed. We would be crazy to turn him down if he wanted back in.

frick him he doesnt want to come here we arent even in his top 5. He just wants to camp here and get some teaching from CNS.
