Austin Golson bought Craig's bullshite hook, line, and sinker. He's going to FSU.

Is he as good as advertised?

I would like to think I'm decent in evaluating offensive linemen. It's kind of my thing. I really like Golson. I think he has the frame and footwork to be a solid LT in the SEC. So, yeah, I'm none too happy to see Florida State getting an Alabama kid at a position of need.

On Pocic, Buckeyes think they can flip him. But I really doubt it.

Yeah, this is why I was yanking your chain AT.

Proximity might be the only reason he would flip to OSU. Not sure how much closer Osu is than BR.

as far as Bama, Only Santa Maria, which will be tough, or the Juco brown kid.
2014 class will be vital for T imo.

As far as I know, Santa Maria is yall's if you want him. Shouldn't be tough at all. Outside of a center, LSU is done on the OL.

Why not go get Prince in Maryland for 2014 or Spain in North Carolina?

Is it Santa Marina or Santa Maria? I don't guess it really matters, I heard that the attention and want for left tackle had shifted to one of the other Santas. I think it was Robot Santa but there is an issue the staff is working thru because Santa wants a Chilld package deal.

I think he's involved with numerous nefarious street agents and other shady characters too

Don't laugh too much, they are thinking seriously about offering Chilld. He would be a great deep threat at WR with his size and blazing 5.6 forty time. Nuss has been working with Bateman the last couple of days on a 15 step drop to allow Chilld time to get 25 yards down field.

I don't guess there's any chance that Gulledge or Taylor could play LT is there? I think they both did in high school. Dalvin Tomlinson was a pretty mean OT in high school too.

He's 6'10.

Robenson Therezie would need a ladder to cover him.

Gulledge: doubt it. he doesnt really have the size or agility to play LT

Taylor: doubt it. he doesnt really have the speed or agility to play LT

He will be a guard, IMO. Alphonse Taylor too. Our depth on the interior offensive line is pretty solid. We just need to fix OT. D.J. Fluker is gone after this season. Cyrus will be gone after 2013.

I know we need to get a LT in this class, but I think most of you are sleeping on Brandon Greene. He is extremely athletic with the feet to play the left size, not to mention he has the wingspan of someone 7'3".

I think both Brandons, Greene and Hill, are our OTs for the future. Now if one of them doesn't pan out....

Brendan Langley, four-star cornerback from Kell High School in Marietta, Ga., camped at Alabama on Monday after naming the Crimson Tide his favorite before arriving on campus. Langley talked in-depth about the trip to Tuscaloosa.

quote:

"I went to the camp on Monday," said Brendan Langley. "I participated in the camp. It went well. It was unreal being coached by Coach Saban; one of the best, if not the best coach in the country.

“It was great being able to learn the things I learned. It was good getting a good feel for the atmosphere. It’s not a bad place to be for a defensive back. I felt like I did great. I obviously have some things to work on. I did well and took a lot from the camp, which was my main goal."

College camps have a lot to offer high school prospects and bonding with other players they see on the camp circuit.

"I’d say the best part of the trip was just getting coached by the coaches," Langley said. "It was great to be coached by them. I was able to learn more about them as coaches than recruiters.

"I didn’t really meet anyone knew. I hung out Reuben Foster, Alvin Kamara, Ryan Jenkins and Shaun McGee. I saw him up there. It was a fun crowd to be around."

The 6-foot-1, 189-pound prospect met with the head coach who did not present any pressure about a decision.

"Coach Saban really just talked to me about the history of the program," Langley said. "I felt pressure from myself to commit. After being there how can you not want to be there. Everything stands out to me about Alabama, from the history of winning to the coaches. Everything there is all a big plus for me.

Players are usually high on a program after an official visit or unofficial visit. Camps can have the same effect.

"Alabama is my favorite," Langley said. "I wouldn’t say the lead is by that much. I just like Alabama the most at the moment. I would like to make a decision before my senior season. I am taking it day-by-day, so don’t be surprised if I commit tonight. I am just taking it day-by-day."

Langley is considering trips this summer to Clemson, Florida State, Florida, South Carolina and Georgia.
