I think AU would be ok with dropping Georgia if they could add Tennessee. That's an old rivalry for them too that was carved up. Georgia, I dunno. I'd like to think they'd be ok with it. They also lose Tennessee though. Maybe picking up LSU would make up for it. Plus I think they'd find a bond with Ole Miss fans. Oxford and Athens are very similar.

There would be no problems if we would just go to a 9 game conference schedule.
Very simple solution

That would pretty much put an end to good OOC games though.
Expansion was a fricking terrible idea in the first place. Texas is going to end up ruining college football.

It would happen every year though, plus no way AD at UF forgot his name he's a little bitch though, would let LSU into his side, he would have a damn fit, he threw a fit about the initial expansion when FSU was a done deal to SEC and good to go, said SEC East state schools Fla and SC had an "old boy agreement" not to let another school in in their state (FSU and Clemson was nixed)

When we go to 16 team conferences OOC games will be gone anyways.

They have played every year since since 1892. As a CFB fan I would hate to not see the AU-UGA game every year.

The problem is always going to be someone bitching about perma cross division opponent inequality. My idea kinda sticks traditional rival/powerhouses in one division and the new comers/challengers to the throne in another. Georgia/Auburn is the biggest casualty, but SOMETHING has to give and I'd like to think they'd be ok with that for the games they are getting every year

They are similar towns. Both good music/comedy/arts towns. Both mix of southern preppy frat shite and strange but cool southern guys. And pretty women.

Actually, I would split them up like this.
Div 1
Alabama
Auburn
Tennessee
Arkansas
Missouri
Miss St
Vanderbilt
Div 2
LSU
UGA
Florida
Texas A&M
USCe
Ole Miss
UK
Everybody plays who they should.

Sorry meant out of division
Each SEC team could play 10 game SEC slate all 7 division of course, and 3 out of division, Bama could just have 2 set as AU and Tennessee or pick to only play 1 rivalry every year and 2 out of division, IMHO it wouldn't be a terrible thing RFID both teams to only have to play Tenn twice every 3 years or whatever it would be, we have owned them pretty much the whole Saban tenure and it doesn't seem like it will get any better, but that's JMHO
That still leaves 2 OOC games, no problems to me

Ah, Trey beat me to it. I sensed it might've been some sort of trap but apparently not.
