3 questions to get some good recruiting talk going.....
Bama's next recruit, who is it?
Do we pickup a recruit during our camp this weekend? if yes, who and how many?
Do we flip Henry and hang onto him on or around June 8th?

Here's another question that needs answering: Who would win in a fight between Bad Bad Leroy Brown and Big "You Don't Mess Around With" Jim Walker?

Either a camp prospect, but also on the lookout for Poggi and Matthew Thomas

Very possible

I stated earlier yesterday that Burns is the only one who had had contact and he is pretty confident but the staff etc will have a much better feel for how the staff stands after he visits

I like him as a RB. He reminds me a bit of Coffee. Chances are he will move to DB or WR unless he can jump someone on the depth chart though.

I was talking about his film the other day. First, most annoying music ever. Second, I think RB is his best position. He's got better balance and is a harder runner than I previously thought. He's not that far removed from TJ Yeldon actually. We're just so stacked at RB, I think he'll have to wait several years for his shot and more than likely will be relegated to an Upchurch type role.

This video is outstanding imo. It's hard to fathom that a kid with this type of ability is going to be somewhere around 5th on the depth chart.

Summer visits coming for DE Walker
ORLANDO, Fla. – Sandalwood (Jacksonville, Fla.) defensive end DeMarcus Walker admits he was close to pulling the trigger for the Florida Gators during his visit for the spring game. A big reason the 6-foot-4, 270-pounder about committed on the visit lie with friends and Gator commits Ahmad Fulwood and Nick Washington.

“I was close, because Ahmad, Nick, they’re good friends,” Walker said. “I talk to those guys and I really want to be close to those guys, but at the end of the day I’m trying to make it to the league and friends will be friends.”
Walker planned to announce his decision on May 24, but that quickly changed as he realized he was not ready to decide at that time.
“You know when teams came in the spring and stuff and I talked to them, they were talking good, showing me some things,” Walker explained.
Walker went on to name several coaches he has been in contact the most during the month of May.
“Coach Jeff Scott at Clemson, Coach (Jeremy) Pruitt at Alabama, Coach (Mike) Pelton from Auburn, Coach O (Ed Orgeron) from USC, everybody you know.”
The delay in decision sets up a lengthy summer tour of campuses from the four-star defensive end.
“I’ll be at Tennessee, Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Florida, USC.”
Walker stated he’s looking for a program with great academics, an opportunity to play early as well as good campus. While he stated he would like to make a commitment in August, that isn’t exactly set in stone.
“To tell you the truth, when I feel comfortable.”
247Sports currently ranks Walker as the nation’s No. 43 prospect overall.

Cooper Bateman, Jonathan Allen and Darius Paige helped jumpstart Alabama’s recruiting efforts heading into the summer months. Three major pick-ups for the commitment board which gives the Tide a huge boost with other prospects who are expecting to announce their decision before the start of their football season.
quote:
Two National 100 tight ends are expected to announce their college decision this summer.
Josh McNeil, four-star from Hillside High School in Durham, N.C., and Hunter Henry, four-star from Pulaski Academy in Little Rock, Ark., have on their schedule to announce their college decision in the next 90 days.
McNeil has Alabama on the top of his list. Florida, Georgia and Ohio State remain strong contenders for his signature. He’ll visit Alabama the first week of June.
Henry named Alabama as one of his top six schools. He visited Tuscaloosa a few months ago, and has remained in close contact with Mike Groh. Arkansas and Georgia are thought the main competition with the Tide to land the elite prospect.
Henry Poggi, four-star defensive tackle from The Gilman School in Baltimore, Md., is likely on the verge of announcing his decision. He has visited Tuscaloosa and former teammate, Cyrus Jones, signed with Alabama in last year’s recruiting class. Michigan, Tennessee and Ohio State are also heavily involved with his recruitment.
Demarcus Walker, four-star defensive end from Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, Fla., was originally expected to announce his decision this month. Walker will possibly announce in August before his senior season. Alabama and Florida are the main contenders.
Walker Jones, four-star linebacker from Evangelical Christian School in Cordova, Tenn., is expected to pull the trigger before the start of his senior season. Jones has more than a dozen scholarship offers including one from Alabama. His older brothers, Barrett and Harrison, play for the Tide. His father, Rex, also played basketball at Alabama. He will attend the Tide's camp in June.
Marquez White, three-star cornerback from Northview High School in Dothan, Ala., received an offer from Florida State and committed later the same day. He still plans to camp in Tuscaloosa in June. The 6-foot-1, 173-pound prospect has a verbal offer from Alabama.
