yeah, but you've been back and forth with him cause you didn't agree with what he said. LET IT GO!

No, but I doubt he would go to Tennessee. The only job in the SEC he should take, besides staying as coach-in-waiting at Bama, is Georgia because of his connections there.
Tennessee is a trainwreck. I highly doubt he would want any of that bullshite.

No, not at all. I would just hate for him to go to UT. I didn't like it when Hart or Sunseri went up there either.
Don't get me wrong, i'm happy for our guys that get to move up the ladder and I certainly expect them to when the opportunity presents itself. I just hate all things UT and that will never change.

Its kind of hard to hate them when they suck so much these days.
Either way Id prefer Kirby to be at a rival SEC school over a dead end job like Memphis.

I would rather see him stay at Alabama, continue to learn how to build and run a program, and take over for Saban when he "retires" to the AD spot.

In a perfect world that would be great. I dont see someone who is as hot a commodity like Kirby to stay for another 5-8 years.

Not for me

I agree with that part, I just wish it wasn't UT I guess.

And I don't see CNS taking the AD spot either.

Well, Mal Moore is 6,423 years old. He won't last forever. Who else would you go after?
Ozzie?

Or bring Dave Hart back into the fold.

He would be my first and second call.
I think Mal retires before Saban does.

Malfunction Moore will run out of fingers for National Championship rings with the next one so I think a state law should be written to require him to step down after that happens in 2012 or 2013.

I think the Saban hire alone was enough to lose that part of his name, at least for me.

I have always thought that Ozzie would make a great AD, but he's been in the NFL for so long now I don't know if he would come back to CFB.
I've heard that he is very respected in NFL circles and that if, admittedly a big if, he was to be let go by the Ravens that he would definitely be picked up by another club.

Let's see how the Anthony Grant and Mitch Gaspard hires work themselves out first. I have high hopes for them, but they could be busts too.

The Shitbirds just gave the number two guy a huge raise and a promise that he gets the jobs when Ozzie is done. So maybe its not that far off.

Ozzie is a good name in theory, but I have my reservations about him taking over an entire athletic program(not excluding football).
I don't thinkg the conversion from GM to AD is cut and dry...
