Washington did run some Wildcat in 2010 and 2011, albeit with their starting RB(Polk)and not with a specialized Wildcat QB.
Some coaches won't use a specialized player because it's too much of a tell, but I don't completely agree. As long as he has enough of an arm to keep them honest occasionally, it can work.
The Jets brought in Brad Smith as the Wildcat QB and it was painfully obvious with the formation sub that it was gonna be a Wildcat play(he wasn't a regular contributor at WR). Yet it worked 95% of the time because he was such an amazing athlete who flashed enough arm, less than 5 times in his tenure with the Jets, to keep them honest.
Just don't pull a Parcells and start drafting/recruiting players specifically for that 1 package...

New 247
Christian Hackenberg – Pro, Fork Union (Va.) Fork Union Military
Move: From 134 to 66
Quote: “I like that Christian Hackenberg has a smooth release and after digging in on what I saw in person and on film, I think he's the best prospect in Virginia at his position this cycle. He's also a tough kid that's a three-sport athlete, so he's still got a ton of upside in the sport of football.” - JC Shurburtt
Grant Hill – OG, Huntsville (Ala.) High School
Move: From unranked to 93
Quote: “The mauler with the basketball name is a fast-riser for me. You look at how he physically dominates on film against good athletes and it's clear that he's one of the better interior prospects in the country. He doesn't have the same type of athletic upside that say a Tyrone Crowder does, but he's a dang good football player that should get even better as he gains more strength and experience.” - JC Shurburtt

Uh oh, so you're saying TideSaint may prove to be right about Hackenberg after all?
Now where are those dumb frick Auburn and Arkansas fans?

I'm pretty sure everyone is aware you like Hackenberg. You stated it several time over the last couple weeks.
But, I think it's about time to stop tooting your own horn by now. It's getting annoying.

Good. Everyone who told me I was full of shite on Hackenberg need to hear it. Including you.

I've had no opinion of Hackenberg at all. I haven't seen any highlight tapes of any 2013 QB's to have any sort of opinion.
I just think you're coming off a little douchey by looking for credit. To each his own though.

Ah, so he's still behind a bunch of other QBs...

I remember you saying he was the #1 QB in the class.

I know where I can find a dumb frick Gump.
This thread, a couple posts up, named TideSaint...
ETA: And noone said Christian Hackenberg was bad anyways, just that he wasn't the #1 QB

Douchey? Did you read the fricking Hackenberg thread? You obviously did because you had this to say:

I'm gonna have to go ahead and not agree with you on basically everything you've said in this tread so far.
I'm not looking for "credit." I'm just wondering where the assholes are that claimed Hackenberg wasn't worth a shite.

Well if it isn't TTsTowel, the Auburn fan who has more posts in the Alabama 2013 Recruiting Thread than the 2013 Auburn Thread.
Good afternoon douchebag.

I was unaware that the final 2013 rankings were out. Thanks for the heads up.

At least I don't start a self-indulging "Happy Birthday Thread" to myself on the SEC Rant. You are so pathetic.

I was the 1st to bring mention of Hackenberg to this site

TT is free to post here.
I would prefer that when he does he's here to discuss recruiting instead of extraneous stuff.

Like the Alabama fan quotes of claiming Earnest Robinson to be a lock to Bama? I see you're still waiting on that response.

I wasn't aware he was the best QB in the class. Thanks for that heads up. I'm still trying to figure out why you're gloating that one guy liked his "upside". That can be said for every fricking QB in the top 247. The point remains, he's still behind more than a few QBs on that list.

As a joke, yes I did. I guess it went straight over you head as a ton of other things seem to do.

Oh, you got me. It must be nice to come up with such quippy high school names. I wish I could be as cool as you.

Joke or not, it's pretty pathetic to even be thinking about posting on TD about your birthday. But what else do you leg humpers have to do over there in West Georgia? To each his own, I guess.
