Ozzie is a good name in theory, but I have my reservations about him taking over an entire athletic program(not excluding football).
I was told at one time that to be the AD for Alabama you needed a Masters Degree, and Ozzie did not have one.

And i've heard some rumblings about Tyren Jones and Greg Bryant on BOL. Nothing concrete though, just that they have been mentioned.
I think Tyren Jones is the best RB in the 2013 Class but I'd prefer he go somewhere that he can show his skill as Bama is stacked at RB right now.

After getting Yeldon and Drake in the 2012 class, plus having a top 30 player committed for the 2013 class already in Tenpenny, it's gonna be tough to land another elite RB in this class. Just my opinion though.

Ozzie?
He doesn't have a Master's degree.

Does Dave Hart? Would we hire him?

Well, considering he's a athletic administrator at Tennessee, I assume he does. I doubt he could have been a assistant AD at Alabama without one either.
Edit: I seriously doubt he would ever be hired to replace Mal Moore. His NCAA past would keep a lot of influential people from back him. While he held a high ranking position in the athletic department, he wasn't the face of Alabama athletics.

Who do you think they would go after? Any idea?

I don't really have a clue, but considering how Alabama is trying to run a complete athletic program, headlined by its football program, I can see a guy similar to Jeremy Foley pursued. No more "good ole boy" ADs for Alabama.

We should just hire Foley

Jeremy Foley
I'd be ok with that.
ETA: He's been at UF since 1981, so he may be happy where he's at.

You would never pull him.

Well that's just like, your opinion, man

No, It's common sense. Take a look at UF . Why would he leave a school that has the big 3 competing not only for SEC titles, but NC's?

Don't know if it was mentioned, but I just read that Karl Malone Jr. will wait until NSD to commit. Top two are Alabama and LSU.

I think LSU is the team to beat for him. Buck wild says bama has bigger targets.

I could see him waiting to announce, but if waits that long to commit to Bama I doubt we would have a spot for him. Besides, I think he is LSU bound.

FWIW, I said someone "like Jeremy Foley". Meaning, someone that isn't a coach that "retires" into the AD spot. I want someone with "business sense". A CEO type.
