If USC sticks with Sills, you have a chance, but there's Texas

He also doesnt look very fast. Although in his highlites, no one catches him. Must just have really long strides.

Smart move by Slive IMO. He's sick and tired of Delaney using the Rose Bowl alliance in every freaking bowl or playoff discussion. Now we can counter it with our own alliance. It may not have the tradition of the Rose Bowl, but it has far and away more success in the BCS era as pointed out in today's press release.
It also puts the ACC on notice. With the SEC's backing, the Big 12 is cemented as one of the top 4 football conferences. This makes the ACC vulnerable as things slowly move to 4 super conferences. If the Big 12 does manage to poach FSU and/or Clemson, look for SEC and Big 10 to target the ACC in any future expansions.

Are you talking about Henry? I think it's definitely a case of looking slow because of long strides. Most of the sites list him as sub 4.6 (those times are usually FOS, I know). But in his highligh film, not only does no one catch him from behind but he frequently pulls away from everyone and outruns defenders that look like they have an angle on him. I think he's an elite combination of size and speed.

Kind of reminds me of the dude from Philadelphia Miss that went to Oklahoma.

I think he's just a big kid who can run a 4.6 40, which still makes him as fast or faster than 75% of the defense.
Bo is just a bit smaller and he can fly.

I just checked some of his NIKE combine results.
When he was sophomore he weighed 225 and ran 4.53, 38 inch vert, and 4.38 shuttle. Said he ran a 4.4 at The Opening.
As a junior he weighed 240 and ran 4.58, 40 inch vert, and 4.15 shuttle.

I was thinking about it & I actually think that's a good city for him, not a lot to get into, but nice enough for his taste, I actually think ALL drafted guys are EXTREMELY GREAT fits in there new NFL teams & cities (except for Trent in Cleveland of course, I Keed I Keed Trey)

I've made a USC fan mad, he's resorted to attacking LSUs academics. That's how you know it's weak

QB Ryan Buchanan opens up
Webb Lewis
With Alabama landing a commitment from the nation's No. 4 rated quarterback, Cooper Bateman, there will be many top signal callers that were once eyeing the Tide begin to look elsewhere.
Jackson (Miss.) Prep quarterback Ryan Buchanan had not been offered by Alabama, but he was interested in all the Crimson Tide was telling him.
Buchanan had this to say about Alabama's latest commitment.
"It doesn't bother me that much the he (Bateman) chose Bama," Buchanan told Rebels247. “I think it's a great school, and I wish him the best of luck."
Buchanan has been pulling in offers left and right over the past few weeks.
"There are a couple of schools that would've taken either one of us," Buchanan said on Wednesday. “Now that Bama has their guy, things have really picked up for me just today."
Believe it or not, but Bateman choosing Alabama has actually moved Ole Miss into a better position in pursuing Buchanan.
"Oh yeah, Ole Miss is still in the mix for sure," Buchanan expressed. "I'll know a lot after I do my June camps. I will then be able to get it down to three or four. I already have a pretty good idea who they are, though."
Buchanan will be in camp at Ole Miss the first week of June.
Ryan Buchanan is the No. 5 ranked player is the state of Mississippi and the No. 18 ranked pro-style quarterback in the nation, according to 247 Sports.

Don't think he's going to be our 2nd guy.
Posted on 5/18/12 at 12:40 pm to Chadaristic
I don't either, just thought the quotes are interesting like it picking up like a bunch of schools called him after Bateman committed to Bama

Actually, I won't mind at all if we don't get a 2nd QB. I'd almost prefer that we didn't.
