We will most likely see 5-7 WR get major playing time this year. In years past, the distance between the top three WR and the rest of the corp has been a large one. What we are seeing now is an evening of talent throughout the position that will allow the staff to use multiple receivers in multiple formations to really create mismatches. The lack of depth at the HB position will also probably force the offense to use more three and four WR sets next year.
da frick?
on second thought, the OP must be referring to the H-Back position. now that i can see. But Im still excited to see what happens with the H-Back this summer. I think some of the new guys will get shots and some of the guys that got a look this spring will get a better feel for it.

I think BC will do well at HBack. Plus it will be easier to tell OJ Howard, that's how you will be used.

Ya, he meant H-back and I agree that Calloway could be explosive in that position.

I still feel like Fowler could have been an exciting H-Back. I hope we get some good mileage out of him at RB this year because he clobbers people.
Im not sure where to set my expectations for Calloway. I think we've seen guys who were lesser athletes be successful in that position. but i dont know what type of player Calloway is, beyond the measureables. For me personally my favorite H-Back under this regime was Travis McCall. But I think the position has evolved away from a primary blocker to more of a recieving role and I dont see anybody coming in and being that type of H-Back, except maybe ole Kurt Freitag.

So what you guys honestly think that Norwood isnt one of our top WRs. You guys honestly listen to everything that mods tell you SMH.

I believe people who watch practice and have access to the coaching staff over someone thinking that 1 game propelled a player 3 spots up the depth chart.

I've always thought this. For some reason I'm just still not sold on him being a primary back, I hope he proves me wrong.

Couldnt agree more. Travis was a bad mofo, and loved to block. Just watching him you could tell that he enjoyed puttin people on their arse. I had class with him, good dude. This is also my concern for Calloway, I hope he enjoys the blocking aspect of Hback. He could really shine if he gets it down.

I guess I should have put that in with theinfo, that's my bad. But I kind of didn't want y'all to know who it was from, because everybody knows Trevor doesn't know shite.

Who said Norwood isn't one of the top WRs? The BOL mod said that there were 5-7 WRs who are all pretty equal and they will all get significant PT. Based on how we have recruited that position lately, I think it's safe to assume he is probably correct.
