My guess is 5. 2 edge players, 2 interior and the 5th being the best availible.

It will certainly be Alabama's largest OL class since 2008.

Regardless, he was never coming to Alabama. He's an Aub all the way.

Yep, he committed to FSU before we started recruiting him. I think we'll flip him eventually

No offense to his talent, but Bozeman, Hill, and a top out-of-state OT will make us forget about him real quick.

I want Tunsil real bad. Would really anger some Gators and Noles.

TOS quote on Bosa:

quote:

"Bosa is an incredibly disruptive defensive lineman who has a great mix of speed and strength that will make him a difficult matchup as a strongside defensive end," Rivals.com recruiting analyst Chris Nee said. "He was extremely high on Alabama after receiving an offer from the Crimson Tide."

Also on Tunsil :

quote:

"Tunsil is likely the top player in the Sunshine State for 2012," Nee said. "He has a prototype body for an offensive tackle with a great wingspan and broad shoulders. He has already developed well with regards to strength and has plenty of room to continue to bulk up on his frame.

"He has been a strong performer since his sophomore season but saw drastic improvement as a junior. The scary part is he likely hasn't come close to reaching the midway point of his full potential."

BOL reporting LSU gave an offer to Kenneth Santa Marina even though some around him say Bama lock and almost close to commiting

Another elite OL, my guess for the OL is likely 6, 5 at least

Santa Marina is not an elite OT. He has serious work to do in the weight room. His body composition is bad. Think Andre Smith. He has bitch tits. He may turn out to be a good one, but to call him elite now is asinine.

He will commit to LSU before summer is over.

Maybe not elite, but he is a young kid

I'll trust Coach Stoutland and Saban's eval

This is all I'll say on the subject

Your creepy obsession with flaming everything BuccWild/TrollTyde has to say is making you say really stupid things.

Andre was a lazy, fat, stoner, but he was absolutely an elite OT.

Alabama is hitting New Orleans as hard as we have Atlanta the last few years.

He reminds me of Bama's version of Cpt Brannigon.

You might come out empty handed when it's all said and done. You also might strip it clean. Who knows

I think bama will find it a little harder to pull NOLA talent vs Atlanta.

I wouldn't expect more than 2-3 from Louisiana as a whole for the 2013 class.

As long as we don't have them as a priority... They're all yours.

Agree with this. Burns is good and connected but NO is Wilson's territory and that is an extreme uphill battle unless the Lowery's are involved.

Didn't Frank Wilson actually play for, and coach under, Burton Burns in the New Orleans high school ranks?

Adam henry will now be giving frank a hand in NOLA as well as hitting up Texas and FL.

He's his mentor, but Frank is the better connected guy and recruiter of the two.

I love Burton Burns recruiting. I think he does well enough in south Louisiana, but I think his contacts in the Carolinas are just as good.
