Obviously I'm not a scout or anything, but I watched film of the QB's Auburn was recruiting before I looked at any rankings and Bateman impressed me the most, I've liked him from the beginning. And while the offer lists may be misleading, Bateman has much more interest from major national schools than Allen, which can be a sign. Bateman, from what I can tell, is possibly the top QB on Loeffler's board, I think he's definitely better than Allen.
And Allen beating AU 3 times?
