Would the fact that LSU is pushing so hard for Lewis Neal be good news for Bama with Greg Gilmore?

Only guessing, but I don't think it would affect it. Neal looks like a work in progress if the plan is to move him inside to DT. He doesn't have a Brockers frame though, how much bigger can he actually get without affecting his play.

Gilmore seems more likely out of the 2 to play as a freshman. He's a bit undersized too, but not as much as Neal. He'll probably get 5-10 pounds added on before his freshman season.

Now if they want him at DE, which would be different consider he's not a speedy passrusher, then it wouldn't matter much at all.

BTW: I saw on his Tweet ticker on 247 that he said something about being in Bama?

Hell, in my experience of following recruiting closely the past 9 years, direct quotes from a recruit are the LEAST reliable source going.

This is my second year, and it has been fun as hell, especially seeing other opinions from different schools

About 20 years here.

Yes, this is correct. ESPECIALLY if it's the recruit talking to someone representing another school.

ETA: In the same interview he says not to take recruiting too serious unless you get direct quotes from the recruit.

This is absurd.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm under the impression that Dee Liner only went in to linebacker when others in front of him got hurt...

The only one hurt was Foster and he was hurt yesterday. But if he is really wanting to play LB why not show he can in front of the guys that rank you. Just saying.

So let me get this right. We should not believe Foster because he was quoted directly. But we should believe Mathews another recruit because he was quoted directly.

It shouldn't be. We are taking at least 6 dlinemen and might even take 8. From my understanding, once Gregs mom visits LSU it should seal the deal.

I thought I read he is ready to make an announcment and not taking any more visits. Meaning mom is done with visiting as well.

My question is where is Rueben going to play if he goes to UGA because I swear someone told me that Matthews was going to play LB.

They also run a 34 defense...

Plenty of love to go around.

I think it's a deal where his mom has been to a few schools an his dad has been to a few schools but there isn't a school that's gotten a visit from both. Gilmore seems to favor lsu though and I'll be shocked if he doesn't sign there

Should Nkemdiche loose his place as the #1 recruit because he doesnt go to camps anymore? Honestly, Grayson is 30 minutes from Atlanta... He had every chance in the world to go out there and compete. Meanwhile kids like Reuben and Lawson are both already 5-stars and they hardly ever miss a camp in the southeast.
